Yes I want Woodson gone and it needs to be now..but, I am afraid that the interim coach will go on some kind of "run" and the university would hire him full time. Team has quit on Woodson. Possible, not likely, they could end up with a solid B1G record and win a few tournament games with Rosemond or Hunter.

Very rarely does hiring an interim coach full time work out. Yes, Michigan in 1989. I don't think Texas and OSU are happy with their full time hires. The Las Vegas Raiders just fired their interim coach that they chose over Harbaugh.

I dont see any possible scenario short of a National Championship, where Yasir Rosemond, Kenya Hunter, or Brian Walsh are the head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers next year.

If you were them, how would you recruit to the **** show that is Woody.. other than the NIL$ ?

There’s not much they can do. But they aren’t on staff for their great coaching prowess, which is what you need when your coach is as bad as Mike Woodson. So IU is really just paying them a few hundred thousand each to watch Mike Woodson embarrass himself on game day.

In other words, he performed a feat that hasn't been matched at IU in over 100 years. Not even Bob Knight was able to do it. We're witnessing greatness.

Two sides to every coin I supposed.

Anyways,

Bob Knight was 51-3 all-time as Indiana's coach against Northwestern. Knight won his first 18 games against the Wildcats and his final 22.

Mike Woodson is 0-5 against Northwestern.

Not going to happen.  This won’t be another Mike Davis debacle.  Besides, if MW is allowed to finish out the season and they make a run, make the tournament and get at least to the 2nd weekend, then QB and SF will have more ammunition to extend him another year.  I think we cut ties now and let Dolson do his work.

Part of me just feels so bad for Woodson, I mean, opposing teams fans chanting to keep you is very funny but has to hurt the ego. The worst part is, the fan base is so obviously over Woodson that now opposing teams fans are making a joke out of it (and it already is one). That wouldn't happen if it weren't such an obvious thing and I bet in his mind he feels betrayed in a way. That's why he's recluding and not doing his media stuff, etc. The thing is... even if the results were not good, the fans wouldn't have such "visceral" feelings if he at least made it look like he were putting in the maximum effort this entire time to win big like he said he wanted to do.

But by now the story is already written.

Woodson didn't seem to be coaching nearly as hard as he was against Ohio State...
