Yeah, he has a winning record at this point... at least on paper. He's 14-7 against a preseason full of cupcakes... lost 2 against B4A... and 5-5 against what's is largely the B1G bottom feeders... and it's about to get real.
Probably the least impressive 14-7 record in the power conferences when you look at who the wins were against.

I would prefer you don't use my name. Thank you.

If you can dish it out to Kathy and others then.why can't you take it when somebody calls you out. You act like you know all this information and you have tricked enough people to actually believe you know anything.

What real coach is on this staff that you can see that

I mean all the assistants have spent their life in CBB. I don't think they are world beaters, but I do think they probably understand CBB more and sometimes you just need a reset (See, Diebler, Jake)

Of course not, which means there’s no contractual reason to fire Woodson today.

Where did anyone say the reason for an in season firing would "contractual?"

It serves the purpose  to drive home the point that his coaching has been so substandard that to let it go on a handful of games is unacceptable, it serves the purpose to let unknown coaches that are interested to reach out through their representatives to kick start vetting, it serves the purpose to begin the healing of the fan base and their relationship with these players.

I doubt it happens, but there are reasons.

Agreed but with that said glad Leal and Galloway are out of eligibility.
Are we sure they are. Really don't want either one back

I’m not parsing anything. If you think firing Woodson today means Dusty May is going to officially interview tomorrow then you’re nuts.

Of course he wouldn't. But it would let him know that he's not going to get jerked around by IU in the same way Bruce Pearl allegedly did last offseason where you get to the point of talking numbers but then don't make a change (supposedly). May is a bad example of this because he is probably going to milk IU for a nice raise at Michigan anyway. But a guy like DeVries, Wade, etc...

Took a dedicated process and team to land Mike woodson. A really amazing home run get.

It's worked out pretty well for most of the Big Ten, with the exception of IU.

Yep, she is trolling.  I’ll admit she is very good at it.
I don't think she is she is just fun to mess with. She clearly is a troll

She is not ending speculation of that at all.

She is antagonizing people frustrated by bad basketball through her dripping condescension about processes and stakeholders, lol.

The people on this board would be in a tizzy and want him removed mid-season regardless of what any posters here write. We have multiple blow out losses under Woodson every year. People didn't even want him to get a 4th year, of course they're going to want him gone before it's over. Coming here to say that's not going to happen isn't a revelation, it's just a reminder to not care too much about IUBB, because they're currently not a serious organization.

She may be antagonizing but I don’t believe she’s actually wrong. There are two or three handles on here who the majority take their word as gospel and they’ve invented this narrative that Mike Woodson is coaching on a game to game basis. It doesn’t appear that is the case. It deserves to be called out.

Would you include yourself as a person who often doesn't have the slightest idea about what's going on? Just wondering

I knew he wasn’t being fired after the Illinois game, and I knew that there wasn’t and hasn’t been any sort of discussion that carries Woodson’s fate from game to game in the course of the current season. I’ve been clear about where this is headed, and when, and I haven’t wavered.

@ap2345 We need to take our info to DM's since we give so many people bad info. We might as well include @JerryYeagley23too. Then people like Scotty and AH 1925, and Cathy don't have to read it.

Maybe you can block people who don’t want to read it?  He’s been posting the same thing on HSN as well.  All while posting over there that Chris Beard is an alcoholic while not knowing anything about it.  Wild.

I suppose if that's your prerogative, to tell people what information they consume on the internet they should be believed or not, have at it. It's not very effective at making people change their minds. You say it deserves to be called out, fine... I say who the hell cares if guys on a message board want to take another poster's words at face value. Doesn't affect me one bit lol. For the record I also don't think a change will be made until the end of the season, I just don't think it adds any value to the conversation to pop in and act like people are ridiculous for thinking there's a legitimate reason to make a change mid-season simply because of their intimate understanding of this process.

With all this talk about handshake line, didn’t Woody and Underwood call off the handshake line? After the skirmish at the end of the game, I think I saw them go up to each other and turnaround and call the players off.

When did it become the norm to have the handshake line in college basketball. I have watched a lot of old games and they didn't use to do it. RMK would usually went over to a player he really respected and talked to him but no formal line.
