These clowns are wasting time. Getting woodson out quickly allows more time to save the season imo. I know things need to be handled right and these are big decisions but it's time to go

Meet the new boss.  Same as the old boss.  The clown show continues.

And 8 of them were before we played a minute of basketball this season. ITH and some national media coming around to what the viscerally emotional, knee jerk reactive, true fans have been saying for over a year is high comedy.

Anyone with eyeballs looking at our program objectively who watches even a small amount of CBB beyond IU games shouldn't need to do “research” to know it’s been an abnormal amount of blowouts lmao

If you get a chance Doyle has a really good article today about how Buckner and Steve Ferguson have protected Woodson for the last 3 years, also talks about Dolson now having control after hiring Cigs and the backing of Whitten.

Gotta know who his source is on this one.

You don't buy into targeting a basketball genius. To each there own I guess

No. He only coached in college a few years and road the same few kids and when those kids left he jumped to the pros and then jumped to management. He doesn’t seem like a guy that is committed to one thing very long.

as others have said, I want a college lifer. Someone that wants to be a college basketball coach until they retire and have fought hard to get there and stay there.

Basically Dolson had IU in a good spot. Brad wanted to take the job. Buckner and company had a group of donors meeting with Brad too and it was too many cooks in the kitchen. One of that group it might’ve been Buckner or Ferguson pissed off Brad’s wife so she was then out. They had a family vote and it was 3-1 to stay in Boston so they stayed. Brad has had conversations off and on with people he knows both with the Celtics and in Indiana about how he has always wanted to coach at IU or that it’s always been his dream job. He still has family in Indiana and may want to be closer to them as they are getting older. He has talked openly many times about his love for IU and that type of admiration never changes even if you call yourself a masshole. Scott and Brad also have regular communication and have ever since he turned IU done the last time. Couple all of that with the random Seth Davis and Micah Shrewsberry comments and all of a sudden there seems to be a lot of things that start to add up. Especially when some of these people don’t have any connection to IU. There’s probably more stuff that I’ve shared but that’s the gist of it

So does the pissing off of Tracy get resolved easily?  If @Chris007 keeps calling her Kathy will that anger her again?

Is Ferguson still involved?

I'm guessing Dcott Solson.

One person it's not is KathyC, because it read like an emotional written article

Wasn’t it posited last year that Doyle may have been getting his leaked info right from the source?  Or am I thinking of someone else?

Cant read the article since it’s paywalled but I can guess the gist from his tweet.

I would keep an eye on Scott Drew.  Not sure IU would go his route however Drew and Goodman are good friends and Goodman put out a tweet when IU was getting boat raced the other night that Dolson should make the call.  I’m guessing Drew’s people are getting that out there as soon as possible to plant the seed

Looks like it's behind a pay wall.

“NOBODY IS GETTING A CALL UNTIL BRAD SAYS NO MULTIPLE TIMES AND THAT OFFER WONT BE MADE UNTIL IU NO LONGER HAS A COACH!” Then it goes Dusty and so on. Until that time random names are pointless imo

....nothing wrong with being aggressive and persistent!

Yes everything would be fine with Tracy if everyone stays out of the way and just let Scott handle it. I wasn't calling her Kathy, I was talking about our resident insider who works in the "athletic department".

He is still involved, sits right behind the bench each game, hopefully not involved in the search though. He does donate to the NIL

Probably by intent.  Buckner and Ferguson didn’t want Brad taking the job.

That would be interesting. I'd be surprised if he ever left Baylor. It's a perfect fit for him as a private Baptist university. Not sure IU would be a good cultural fit.
