The roller coaster reality of IU basketball continues under CMW.

Win 5 games against teams that aren’t good and get the feels back with some of the fans, then play a decent team on the road resulting in a non-competitive annihilating loss.

Once again we give up.

Once again we aren’t running back after turnovers.

Once again we have selfish shots early in the shot clock against a soft Iowa team leading to long rebounds (our bad shots are worse than turnovers.)

This season cannot end quick enough.

Woodson sitting on the bench in 2nd half is symbolic. Guy has no answers and is dumbfounded. As has been said many times (unfortunately too many times with these types of losses) Quinn Buckner should be forced to sit courtside every game until this shitshow mercifully comes to an end.

The rollercoaster that barely ever goes up.  IUBB rollercoaster train leaves the station, does some bunny hills, and then derails and nosedives into the ground.

With this roster we could still save the season.

Yeah, my prediction league ranking just tanked with this one so I'm just going to predict blowout losses for the rest of the season. They looked absolutely lost out there tonight. How do we salvage this with the rest of our schedule?

At what point is enough enough? How many embarrassing losses can this program take? Every.single.loss is a blowout.

Look, it’s still doable. The math still works.  Never figured they would win this one. If they win out at home, they’ll have the 11 wins projected that they need.  With the PSU win they can even lose one and still get to 10 wins.  Tuesday against UofI will be pivotal.

If the next hire is a whiff, giving a lame duck Woodson another year over hiring Dusty May could go down as the biggest blunder yet when it comes to IU basketball coaching decisions.

The worst part is we all saw it coming, though I think most of us expected it to be Louisville instead. But this is IU, so of course he landed in the Big Ten.

I'm 37, been an IU fan my whole life. For the first time ever, I don't give a !?$@ about this program. I want to say some very harsh things about the administration, the head coach, and the players at this point(I'm a firm believer in the mentality of one RMK and if it were me in that coaching seat we wouldn't be in this position and if the team ever played like that I'd be lighting a volcano under their a$$e$) and I simply can't watch this team. It actually makes my blood boil. I've cracked a lot of jokes about it but this game tonight was flat out embarrassing on multiple levels and it's disgusting that we're even in this position. Until Woodson is gone and the people in charge pull their heads from where the sun doesn't shine this program will not be respected by the CBB community at large. We are a far cry from the rich storied history that IU basketball used to and should represent. I hate all of this...

IF IU loses both games next week IU will be 13-6.  If I were the AD knowing the margin of error is slim and the chances of the tourney dwindling or even being competitive in the tourney. I would probably use next weekend to go over my options and make a plan in action go into place. I would establish an expectation goal and tell my coach look you’re 13-6… Here is the goal if you would like to remain HC at this University.

I believe the administration, President and AD, will make the right call after the season is over. President Whitten is the first President in a long time who seems to get what IU basketball and football mean to the university. They got the football hire right and I think they are working on the next basketball hire already. Nothing is going to change until this season is over. I'm just checking scores at this point, no really watching games. In a couple of months the rebuild will begin.
