Trish Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 Long as no injuries occur then it’s a win. Need the bench to get some minutes, specifically Gabe. Would be nice to see Ware have a standout performance but again no injuries is a win. Stuhoo, thebigweave, taco corp and 1 other 4 Quote
Josh Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 I know nothing about Indy other than what's said here. I'd have to assume we have the height advantage here across the lineup? Quote

HoosierHoopster Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 Is this all to get us ready for a L? I’m looking forward to watching an athletic, shooting, tough defensive IU lead by an outstanding experienced point in X and Gallo wearing the Hell out of anyone he guards while Bako shows out from the wing in a strong W Quote

I'd have to assume we have the height advantage here across the lineup? U Indy has three kids that are 6'10", 6'11", and 7'. The 6'10" and 6'11" players are freshman. The 7' kid is Julian Steinfeld. He's been a rotational player for him who is looked more for defense and rebounding than his offense. Kendrick Tchoua has been their starting center for the past three years and will be again. Not tall but does have some mass (6'7", 240). Averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds last year and is strictly a post player -- shot 73% from the field last year. If I had to guess, their seven top rotational players will be PG Josiah Tynes (6'3", 8.1 points, 2.4 reb, 2.7 apg....he's their best three point shooter) SG Jarvis Walker (6'3", 7.9 points/game last year in 17 mpg, in there for his offense) SG/SF Jesse Binham (6'6", 15.7 ppg, 2.9 reb, 2.9 apg) SF Bruno Williams(6'7", 8.3 ppg, 1.7 rpg) PF David Ejah (6'7", 3.8 ppg, 2.6 rpg) C Kendrick Tchoua (6'7", 14.1 ppg, 8.0 rpg.....is foul pron) C Julian Steinfeld (7', 3.1 ppg, 5.5 rpg) Doubt there is much time that both Tchoua and Steinfeld will be on the floor together, so would typically expect a lineup of 6'3", 6'3", 6'6", 6'7" and either 6'7" or 7'. Home Jersey Posted October 28, 2023 Posted October 28, 2023 Think I'm sucking it up and paying $10/mo to watch the exhibition games and Kennessaw State... so pumped to watch! My totally baseless prediction... we start slow, maybe even close at halftime (within 10 points). Then we start to pull away based on pure talent disparity. Come away with a lot to work on but hopefully also a lot of reason to be optimistic about our ceiling... We all know there are going to be chemistry kinks to iron out. Would love to see big performances from Ware and Mack in a game like this. IU 75 Indy 62 HoosierHoopster and str8baller 2 Quote

Except final margin will stretch a little bigger imo I'm sure there will be a moment everybody talks about, I'll guess a Ware slash and throw down Home Jersey 1 Quote

I seriously think it might be a turd I'm smelling. Does anyone else smell that? It is either a turd or something else stinking up these threads more and more regularly lately. I wonder if the women's basketball threads smell like this too. J34, mamasa and thebigweave 3 Quote
