Work hard Play hard. He says he’s 6’6” which is semi interesting. Either way he’s playing the 3 which was presumed by everyone. He sees himself as a SF and so does the staff it seems. Front court looks nice. lillurk 1 Quote

I heard 6'8" as well, but more importantly - WOW what an impressive young man. Mature, grounded, and extremely likable, great job by CMW & Staff! J34, thebigweave, Demo and 2 others 5 Quote

I would love it if we had the guard/wing depth to play Mgbako at the 4 in smaller, more skilled and athletic lineup. Stuhoo, thebigweave, Demo and 1 other 4 Quote

Agree. I believe we will see plenty of either Ware, Malik, or Sparks playing the 5 with MM, Kaleb, Trey/CJ, and X. Looking forward to see how Coach utilizes all of these interchangeable parts he has. Although we're thin in the backcourt, if we're fortunate enough to avoid any setbacks, this team could be very dangerous down the stretch. Not many pg's in the country, I would take over a healthy/under control, 6th year XJ. Redcamaro 1 Quote

I think he said 6'6" which is in line with him playing the three both now and in the pros. Interesting that someone might potentially low-ball their height to seem more attractive as a wing/three projectable. WayneFleekHoosier and lillurk 2 Quote

They don't play just in boxers so they should weigh them in full gear MikeRoberts and Tom White 2 Quote

Ricochet Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Whether his height is actually 6'8, who knows but the confusion of him saying he's 6'6 just didn't happen. He clearly says he's 6'8. Quote

He clearly says he's 6'8. That's what I heard the first time but I certainly wouldn't say he clearly says that. He says it pretty quickly and I can definitely hear how some people would think he said 6'6". The confusion is from him not saying it clearly. Quote

At #6 is Deshawn Harris-Smith and it talks about him hitting from outside. It's been a while but I thought he was more of a really athletic slasher type? Am I remembering incorrectly (or possibly confusing him with someone else), is the writer wrong, or has his shot improved? Quote
