We had chances and shoulda won, but what the hell -- we lost on a 35-foot bank shot from a 35-year-old dude.

Couple things:

-We just played ourselves into the tournament. That’s all anyone asked for coming in. 

-TJD is stamping his place in IU history down the stretch this year. He has turned it on big time after a rocky year. 

-Playing with house money the rest of the way. 

-Sure hope, as fans, we’re allowed to get excited this offseason coming off of this week and hopefully some success next week. 

-**** Jordan Bohanon’s “Do you know how I am?” slack-jawed, geriatric ***.

Nothing but what was done. Force a low percentage shot. 
 

If we want to whine we can do it on the other two plays we lost guys late. But the truth is that’s basketball, a culmination of good plays and some bad ones. We played well overall and came up short to a hot shooting team.  
  
A good 3 game run that got us to the tourney is something to be happy about, imo. Out of the stupid play-in games too.

I could imagine a person melting down if this had been the do or die Michigan game or even the Illinois game where we were on the bubble.

Melting down on this one says more about the poster than the team.

This fanbase really needs to stop with nonsense like this. Kopp played his @$$ off the whole game and made several big shots. The whole team played their ***** off and ran out of gas at the end.

I mean did Stewart and Kopp inspire that much confidence in you? Bates made a nice ( in rythem) shot you have to give him at least a couple minutes to see if something clicked. Plus fresh legs.

Dude this is basketball board. You can provide constructive criticism and still be proud of the team. It’s not one or the other.

My opinion...keep your eyes on the prize. It was fun and enjoyable to see this team wake up in this tournament and play so well, but the BTT is not the prize. I've long viewed the BTT as fool's gold...you expend precious resources against a less important goal.

Focus maximum effort now on the NCAAs.
