Shooter Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 Always great to add talent. I haven't seen him play, but his scouting report sounds like a nice fit as the other forward alongside Mgbako. Let's get a few guards next. GloryDays 1 Quote
IU - Kaulie Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 This seems like a good get. We need to keep stacking talent. Connor Hickman next please! ALASKA HOOSIER, Artie86, Class of '66 Old Fart and 3 others 6 Quote

He did a couple of top 100-type camps and played some international team ball, but otherwise his summers were all skill development work and school. He was so far ahead academically that last spring he was considered an almost certain reclass. At 1 point he was pretty much universally penciled into Mich St’s ‘23 class. Make no mistake, he’s kind of a different kid. I always like top ranked kids who prioritize international ball over the national travel circuit. Games where they are actually going all out and trying to win as opposed to expressing scouts. rcbowla, lillurk and ALASKA HOOSIER 3 Quote
RaceToTheTop Posted March 29, 2024 Posted March 29, 2024 Having trouble tracking down his high school stats (not abnormal, its hard to find them for a lot of players) to see Tucker's shooting numbers, particularly from the three point line. Did find an article where his team won the Beach Ball Classic where he scored like 28 of his team's 64 points in the first game and then 34 of his team's 77 in a double OT victory in the championship and in the title game he made five threes. JerryYeagley23 Posted March 31, 2024 Posted March 31, 2024 I watched his highlights because I haven’t seen him in person, and his game kind of reminds me of Evan Turner from O$U a few years back. Hopefully he can learn to give effort on D and get in the weight room this summer. But a very smooth scorer. lillurk, FW Hoosier, cybergates and 3 others 6 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted April 1, 2024 Author Posted April 1, 2024 Jamie Shaw's comments following this morning's McD A-A practice - Bryson Tucker played with a lot of confidence today. He had a good feel on the ball, probing in the half-court getting in the mid-range and elevating from the elbows. Tucker has impressed this weekend on the defensive end. He has played physically with good athleticism. Tucker’s jump shot has improved, while still a little bit flat. He is better at knocking down shots off the bounce, especially in the mid-range. He is comfortable on the ball and plays good balance. Dave from Dayton, ebridges24, ALASKA HOOSIER and 2 others 4 1 Quote
