Mixed feelings about this. The Woodson train is rolling and I guess Armaan wasn’t ready to get on. Best of luck to him and I’m glad he is in the ACC vs Illinois.

This won’t be popular but I’m ambivalent about AF leaving. He was extremely high usage, he often took a really high volume of the team’s shots, and he didn’t want to come back when we brought everyone else back to play for a genuinely good NBA coach and IU legacy player who will push the 3-point game and has surrounded himself already with a top flight staff including Fife and of course Matta.
You’d rather go try to win now for yourself in another program? Ok, best of luck to you.

Same here. If he stayed, I would be fine. Since he left, I'm fan also.

Our best shooter was Parker Stewart. He’s over 40% from 3. Our guard play is going to be exponentially better than it has been. Lander & Leal are going to develop. I wouldn’t worry. Wishing Armaan the very best in Charlottesville.

With better guard play Brunk could be a stud off the bench for us. 
 

Lander and Phinisee pushing hard for back up spot. 
 

Then Leal, Galloway, Geronimo going for the rest.  
 

Definitely want to get another transfer.  11 players with experience is better than the 7 we had last year though by a country mile

If we had not fired Archie, Armaan is probably back. If had not fired Archie, TJD is definitely gone and Xavier Johnson isn't here.

I live in Virginia and watch a lot of UVA ball. Bennett is obviously a very good coach. The style of play is just as boring as Archie Miller's, just more effective. I doubt the move has much impact on Armaan's NBA chances. He is a good college player but to me calling him a future NBA player is a stretch.  Anyway, with the addition of Xavier Johnson, IU has enough guards. Parker Stewart will play the position and Stewart is a better shooter. Good luck to Armaan. He seems like a good guy.
