Popular Post mdn82 Posted March 17, 2025 Popular Post Posted March 17, 2025 Now all, I just want to leave you with this. I really should get some work done lol. Embrace this search and realize the chance this hire will be what you want/expected are slim to none. During this search is the only time your mind can run wild with the possibilities and this coach is everything you want. For that brief 1-2 months every 4 years we can be the greatest ever. Don’t fight each other. We all want the same things. Just in different ways. In the end 99% of all coaches are hired to be fired. Embrace the crazy. See you on the other side knuckleheads. Look out for the Mike Woodson is officially out announcement from the AD then we can transition to big wink watch. I'm confused. The AD's office already formally announced Woody's retirement. Why would they announce something formally again regarding him? MikeRoberts, theriverpilot and pumpfake 3

Our closes source to Scott Dolson is Zach Ostermann. He came out and said no one know anything and that this is the closes tight lipped coaching search that he's conducted at Indiana. Pete Thamel and other media can report all the names they want, they are getting their names from their agents in order to get contract extensions + new jobs. 8bucks, HoosierSadaseci and Hollywood Mike Miranda 2 1

I would value what McCollum has done more to significantly more than what DeVries has done. Fair. Some people say Archie had the better resume bc he had success at the D1 level.

"oh we dont like being trolled" "dont tell us stuff that might not turn out to be true" ...If you have been paying attention Chris has said so many times that if he were to guess if it were BS it would be less than 50%. Even yesterday he was questioning how "homerun" was defined. RTZ has not changed his position yet nor has JY. The RTZ comment it is dead, then the undertaker plus Tony,Toni...post on the bunt could mean they pivoted to a different big hire. The thing is, anyone better than a risinig star as a coach would be on par with what our peers have done over the last decade. Have they suggested it is a bigger fish, sure. Is it still possible, sure. Could it be a swing and a miss, sure, but so many of you get personal with the attacks on people on here that are our community/friends. Yeah, he's a slight lean towards the will work out based on his past. You just never really know and it could go either way. Odds are he'll have some growing pains though.

The fishbowl could swallow him up in two seconds and I'd love to hear the excuses at that point. Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk I'm not convinced he's going to kill it but I'm willing to give him the chance. He says a lot of the right things, things we bitched about other coaches not doing. If he's as calculated about basketball as he is the other aspects of being the head of a program like IU I think he'll be fine. Everyone who's been a great hire had someone take a chance on them. The Archie thing made me re-evaluate how I look at coaching resumes, and give more weight to comparative success. Archie was very good, but there have been a lot of good coaches at Dayton; I now think that a coach like Miller would be expected to have a team with more favorable predictive metrics than Dayton ever had during his time there. Hindsight is 20/20, but I think that's a relevant insight. CSP, Ctf9, JustWinBaby and 2 others 4 1
