Not sure why any sitting B1G and SEC would want to come to a rebuild opportunity of a mid level B1G team (results wise)if they have it rolling elsewhere. Uspshoosier Posted February 22, 2025 Posted February 22, 2025 Hate Brownwell all you want but maybe hiring a coach that respects the history of IU basketball and knows how important the state of Indiana can be to recruiting might not be a bad thing. He isn’t going to be the first or even the 5th choice however there are plenty of other crappy routes IU could go. Getting a sitting ACC coach wouldn’t be the end of the world. He is a flavor of the month hire who hasnt been able to make the tournament in a mostly mediocre ACC conference. Nothing will sell me on him. We will be right back here in 4 years if he is the hire.
