Last year’s Senior Day speech seemed like it was the beginning of the end for Woodson. He could’ve gone about it a couple of different ways and chose the worst way. There was no turning back after that. Pretty sure, that was the most uncomfortable Senior Day we’ve had.

I think Pearl has a lot left in the tank, he doesn’t look or behave like he is on his last leg. I imagine he could coach for many more years and I think he is an excellent coach that kids would love to play for

He has a lot left this year at age 65.

But I would hope we’re looking for someone for more than two or three years.

Besides, why would he leave Auburn for IU?

It's Indiana. It's Indiana.  /DWS

More like starting his offseason in style after his team missed the conference tournament for the second year in a row.

Nonsense. Former players can't attend IU (or any other) basketball games without having some ulterior motive related to the coaching search.

I’m not him or his doctor but if he had aspirations to coach into his 70s I’m game.

would he come? Not sure, I hope Dolson reached out to inquire

That’s as big of a roll of the dice as McCollum IMO, perhaps even more so as Collins hasn’t proved, at any level, that he can win big.

Collin’s is the first coach to get Northwestern to the basket g dance. Plus he did it 3 times. Name me a player he has had that was a five star. I doubt he has had very many top hundred players. Look what Knight did at TT when he wasn’t able to bring in the all American players. Would anyone want to hire him off his TT resume. Maybe he got old and forgot how to coach. Collin’s is a no doubt great coach and I have no doubt he would do great here. After all he has beat the six million dollar roster like a drum.

Wonder why Michigan, Louisville and UK didn’t go after him??
