So I live in Eugene Oregon now and have a close friend with coach back in Bloomington. Coach just set me up with seats behind the bench for tonight's game. My friend just now had this conversation with coach.

To verify this info, wear something that will stand out to the game so when they flash the bench we'll recognize you. Maybe an orange hunting hat.

Edit: I should have just kept reading before posting this.

4 years of struggles at Iowa State is enough info to why you don’t hire a 60 year old McDermott. He’s at the perfect place for his time and age.

Last 4 years results at Creighton in the Big East which is arguably a better league then the B1G and coaching a program that averages more attendance then any program in the B1G is enough information for me that he has overcame his Iowa St struggles.   McDermott would be a fantastic hire in my opinion

McDermott had his shot at a big conference and blew it….also, if we are dipping to a McDermott, I would go Alford….records don’t lie….

Big East isn’t a big conference?  Back to back national champions play in that league

Alford sucks.  He failed at Iowa and UCLA.  I am being polite here.  He has produced crap results in 50% for the time at Nevada.  He would be a crappy hire and hiring anyone with Indiana roots outside of May will be crap.

There’s nothing on his resume that suggests he’s any better than Crean or Archie.  He’s actually very similar to those 2 in a lot of ways if you want the truth.

He has done it longer and has a better winning % than either of them.  He has  had Creighton competing a very high level for awhile.  I do not see him as in the same vein as Crean or Archie.  Definitely not Archie.

I mean the Big East has 4 national champions in less than ten years, he’s not exactly coaching in the MEAC.

I’ll back up @Scott_b’s posting history. I believe anyone can check it out all the way back to his first post, so I’d suggest anyone that thinks he’s trolling go and peep his 4th post on this site from 2021.

Is there cliff notes?

Is there something handy that ranks CBB conferences by year?  I don't doubt that the Big East may have had some teams at the top better than the BT but I would be curious how all the teams compare by conference.

It was crazy for a while when the Scottsdale one opened. Long lines for like a month or more.

I had a doctor within a mile or so of that place... yeah, I tried more than once to get in... my daughter lives close to the one in Avondale and she said it's still the same way... it's probably 3 years newer than the Scottsdale one. I used to love White Castle, but would not drive to the valley and then fight to get in the place. :D

At the end of the game against Washington the other night during handshakes I thought to myself "What are the odds that Woodson even knows that the other coaches name is Danny Sprinkle"

I wonder if he leaks

Apologies if I’m wrong but it has all the feels of Trollish behavior.  If not, sincere apologies.  But the idea of Woody leaking Dolsons moves that no one can ascertain to a random friend is genuinely hilarious.

The skepticism is fair. I know you have no reason to trust me. But I will say if I need a band name in the near future Trollish Behavior is the winner.

Really feel like Woodson is a serious contender now. At first I wasn't sure however he checks all the boxes. He would prove to be an excellent recruiter between selling the NBA experience and his personality. If you look at everything he offers he is an intriguing choice.

I’ll give him a pass on the meat of the post, because that’s not the point and a lot of folks, me included, didn’t totally disagree at the time. I’m just saying I don’t think he’s trolling.
