My worry with him is his time with Iowa State:  Straight from Wikipedia:

What I am hearing is not Chris Collins, but possibly Doug Collins.  He has the Michael Jordan connection that really helps us with the 'older recruits or older transfers".

I’m not worried with how he did at Iowa st.  Since there he has turned Creighton into a top tier big East program.  He leads a program that averages more fans then IU does and has competed in a conference that has produced multiple national champions.   School might be small however the basketball program is a power 5 program.   Coaches learn from past mistakes and I think he would win big at IU

……I truly think there are smoke screens from some of these sources. I mean all you guys have had great contacts, but this hire is a big one. Not even knowing if you’re a potential smokescreen, is crazy.

I'd just like to not be disappointed with the coaching hire, after the last 2 that should be a pretty low bar.

I say that knowing Indiana's last 25 years says they'll just grab a shovel.

Saying Cronin isn't a target actually tracks with what national guys are starting to say. Mike Decourcy more or less said he wasn't a candidate on the radio yesterday, and Jeff Goodman said on his podcast said pretty much the same thing.
