Archie’s as clean an example as we’ll  ever see of a guy just being too small for a job. From that 1st presser where he looked completely spooked to the Indiana State debacle where he had no answers at all. He was dead man walking. The rest was just shouting.

Ran an errand at halftime of ISU and thought: we’re stuck with this shmuck for years. Game 1!

UCLA's 2008-2009 team is their last really good one

Not exactly a ringing endorsement of Cronin.

Harrick and Howland had little trouble building contenders there. Cronin is close to Lavin and Alford than those two.

I don’t hate Cronin but he really hasn’t built the rosters that Drew has.

this post will be met with skepticism, which is understandable. but it won't be Stevens. 100% confident on that. Dolson's current list is 3, he doesn't have his "man", but any of those 3 would be really strong hires. has plans D and E as well, names we've all heard but hope it doesn't get to them. Nothing announced until late march at the earliest. deep talks with 1 candidate in particular, a name i think would be just about universally liked, but nothing signed and won't be until his team is done

I like hearing Stevens and McCollum this morning.  I would be happy with either, but CRAZY thought, how about Stevens as the GM and McCollum as the head coach or vice versa.

Honestly though, McCollum seems more plausible based on what I have read on here (personal opinion), and while I would be on board with that, my recent poll suggests it would divide the fan base. But I'm still on the Stevens train until it crashes and burns or arrives at the station safely.
