And the quote being so meh. The guy literally went on camera and called himself a Masshole last time ffs. He knew "not a candidate" would not be good enough for the IU fanbase to move on. So that's where I keep a sliver of hope. Just my worthless two cents. One big difference, which has been mentioned before, is that BS has no media obligations that I'm aware of. So he doesn't have to sit in front of a camera and answer the question multiple times. VFury, OKHOOSIER, cybergates and 1 other 4

They expected him to get an extra year a la Woody then the buyout goes to 10million on 1 April I believe. Coaches who know they’re at the top of an AD’s target list don’t require their media pals to start whisper campaigns for their candidacy. Often times the more you hear a coach’s name, the further towards the bottom they reside on the program’s candidate list. Well, that info would close the door on facial hair... thank goodness for that. CSP 1

I agree with this. I don't know the process, so I am assuming here, but doesn't the athletic department handle most of the scheduling? No doubt they get input from the coach but I would assume the lions share is happening outside of the HC. I also assume that they have strict deadlines to keep in order to make these matchups happen so they can't really wait on a new coach.

And I am pretty confident Chris and others will hear if Brad is a no to Dolson, there is no logical reason that info doesn't leak out imo.

But just a reminder he’s the mid major flavor of the year . And D2 / mid major success in NO WAY indicates high major success it’s a totally different beast in every way. Too many examples to cite but we experienced it first hand with Archie . Porter Moser and his luck success at Oklahoma is another example Juwan Moye, PartyintheVillas, JustWinBaby and 1 other 4

I would definitely be like, "I will make that happen. What else can I do for you?" AZ Hoosier 1
pumpfake Posted February 26 Posted February 26 Maybe one reason behind the improved schedule is to elevate our national exposure. With a newly hired, big name coach it would add a lot of hype to the media coverage. Our recent lackluster preseason schedule has provided no "buzz" (other than getting stomped by every decent team we played). Deserthoozier 1
