Would be the end of the program.  I don’t buy that at all.  No way Dolson is that stupid.

I'd hope not, but he gave Woodson a 1m raise for what should be bare minimum expectations.

One thing I was told today from the former athlete board that Dolson talks to is don’t be surprised if it’s a Brad, just not the Brad everyone wants. Kind of sad.

We could definitely do worse than Brownell, but whooo boy would that be a let down. But after the last 25 years also the most Indiana Basketball thing we could do lol

My prediction: We get Stevens ...

... in 2055

After turning us down six times in 30-plus years -- he agrees to make his long-awaited, much-anticipated return to the Hoosier state.

"At 78 years of age, I realize -- I'm no longer a Masshole, and am ready to come back to Indiana and live out my childhood dream of coaching the Hoosiers," Stevens said in a press release.

Before leaving, Boston throws him a massive party!

You wash your mouth (fingers in this case?) out with soap. That’s a hard nope nope nope.

I don’t know what happened in the negotiations but it always seemed like this was a horse trade to me and in exchange he got the right to pay any termination fee in payments as low as $1M a year; those two things were added to CMW’s contract at the same time.

Underwood meets the Thamel criteria and is a good coach. Brownell …think how many dudes would have to say no before we got to him, no offense to BB

Hiring Brownell wouldn't be kind of sad, it would be very sad. He's having a good year in a crappy ACC. At Clemson, he's only 59% overall and 52% in conference.

This is the exact type of hire IU avoids, it would be pathetic but also par for the course. If that does end up being the case, it'll show that Buckner and company may have pushed for Woodson but Dolson was also likely very much on board that train.

I guess since Stevens is out of the picture IU is going to IU.

Maybe the next AD would get the basketball hire right in 4 years.
