I made a comment that we would hear from BS no later than next Tuesday 2/18 as if I actually knew something. Everyone lost their minds for a moment. It was too easy to get everyone fired up. I’ve been lurking on this site for 4-5 years and I’ve seen the same stuff repeated just like this over and over again. It’s crazy how many keep buying into it. 

So, it bothers you that some folks might choose to still hold out hope that Stevens ends up coming to IU?

HE didn't....sources said....that is a huge difference. If you don't understand that, I can't help you. The only thing quoted that was said by him is the part about his time as a Celtic and liking the people he works with.

Some people want IU to be good in basketball. Other people want Mike Woodson to not look like the failure he’s been. I’ll always side with the group that wants IU to be good. This isn’t about 1 person. The Woodson groupies hate the fanbase. Our crowd was awesome tonight. Woodson still can’t coach himself out of a paper bag.

Dolson has been ruminating on this for months with thoughts going back a year. He has a plan. It seem highly unlikely it’s Stevens. With so much time left in the season and tournament it’ll be a long wait to see what he does. Agents are talking and have been talking.

Games are getting scheduled remember that. But the 9.2 to 10 rationale isn’t it. I’m over the Stevens dream. I want someone that wants it. Get some fire and mojo back in this program.

Color me shocked that Brad Stevens doesn’t want to coach college basketball. Shocked I tell you. Who saw it coming? Cannot believe people on this board fell for this BS for weeks/months. Shame on those who pushed this narrative.

-Overpay for Dusty May

-safe hire Ben McCollum

-get risky and advantageous and buyout Mick Cronin (would be very happy)

-be smart and hire Will Wade (home run)

ive had lots of good discussions here this week since joining. None of them have been about Brad Stevens.

you can put me on ignore if you don’t like what I have to say. I’m going to continue to have conversations with posters about actually coaching candidates and continue calling out the BS I see

He had a lot more counters than just money. There was NIL, there was bonuses, the GM job.
