I'll just throw this out there as food for thought, based on having worked with HNW people for the last 30 years...

This isn't your average hiring process--

-There may be a family office involved, and each part is doing their due diligence.

- How might a move to a different state affect me income tax wise?

-How might a move to a different state impact any estate planning I've done?

-Would I be leaving anything behind, like deferred compensation, and could I negotiate to keep some or all of it?

Could be a myriad of other things as well. My point being that this might be a little more complicated than just saying "yes" to a new job.

It wasn't "official" until after the Super Bowl.

Yeah and I don't think it would be today but you never know. It could be a few weeks down the road. However, IF it's Stevens, I just don't see a way this keeps quiet for another month. It would be the top story in sports.

Feels like when information starts to leak, it will come from NBA media sources.

If Stevens decides to take the job, he'll want to ensure the Celtics have a plan in place to replace him which NBA sources will easily get wind of.

Lol trust me I lose no sleep over Woodson. This is just mostly entertainment to me. I'd be far more worried about the beard haters on here if we hired him. They would lose it with epic meltdowns.

So 3 people actually voted "NO" on Question #1 "Would you approve of the hiring of Brad Stevens (Boston Celtics)?".  

I fully understand that Stevens might not be everyone's 1st choice but to say you wouldn't approve of it??  That's a head-scratcher.
