This does seem like a great board. From everything I've seen everyone is respectful which doesn't happen on all the boards. Thanks for all the welcoming messages to all us newbies here. I will definitely be staying around.

Oh no I don't think and never thought I was doing any favor for this place. I was thankful that I was able to join this board after HSN crashed. In fact, I saw a lot of familiar names from the old scout site and felt like this was some sort of reunion.

I think he said what he had to say. He doesn't need any distraction for his team. 

But I do appreciate he took time to explain the history of IU basketball to his team. I guess that's something not every coach would do.

Fascinating.

If everyone wasn't so hot under the collar about Stevens at the moment this would be huge. And maybe it is! He could have easily said no. I'd be curious what his responses have been to questions about other job openings in the past.

Titus was a walk-on at OSU but yeah, the rest is true. If Titus is the source, I wouldn’t put a lot of stock into it. I doubt he has those kind of connections.

Titus doesnt have info about Big Ten schedules before they are released or other stuff tho...

Yeah, the easier answer is, “I’m thrilled to be the coach of Texas Tech now and into the future”

done.  No speculation needed.  But his actual answer is a good one to keep doors open.

Then say, “I’m not going to talk about that. I’m the coach of Texas tech, I’m focused on my team now, and in the future.” Or something like that. He just shot it down with an answer that only leads to more speculation, and probably more of a distraction for him and his team.
