They would’nt be invited anyways. They have to be top 2 remaining teams in NET rankings and they are third. Plus a new coach will not coach a group of 6 players he doesn’t know just to play in a tourney that means nothing. I don’t buy it

Can anyone give a clear summary of what Thamel said? Can’t find anything online or on Twitter. But he (not Osterman) has been Dolson’s go to source all along. 
 

If he said it’s definitely down to those three, then that kills the Brad buzz IMO.

He was a really good player 45 years ago... but IMO, he's burned every bit of respect and good will over the course of the past 4 years... and even though he has not earned it, the right thing to do is wait to announce until he's gone... but his hubris, ego and attacks on the fan base has made me just want to be completely done with this joker.

But, yeah, Dolson is correct to take the high road...

Theoretically speaking, let’s say RTZ, Chris, AP, GP and BTB are all wrong….if brads name was never out there and he didn’t exist, we would all be happy with a McCollum or Drew or Otz, etc wouldn’t we? So if it’s not Brad, let’s not let the disappointment of it not being him ruin our excitement if it’s one of the above.

That’s fair. I feel like he’s tipped toed around it saying he’s heard the rumors, heard them from major donors but can’t get anyone to confirm. So if and I am going with a big IF it happens he falls back on that.
