This has always been my assumption as well. Regardless of fan opinion, the administration will make sure this is done “correctly” out of respect for Woodson and what he’s meant to the basketball program over his career. It would also be a terrible look to just “cast him aside” so I agree with the administration here.

He was tired of the NIL nonsense but we’re gonna get him a GM and other support staff to ease his burden so he can focus more on coaching and actual recruiting vs the dealing with agents and such.

I don’t like Mike.  Though I agree treat him the best we can on the way out because that’s the high road.

However, at the end of the day what’s best for IUBB is the priority.  So if announcements needs to be made to be ready for the portal, etc., do it and Mike can cry into his $8.4M buyout.

I think it’s likely Scott knows exactly what to do, I’m just saying it anyways.

To me, the only guy less likely than Stevens is Jay Wright
