I have been trying to get an AI-generated image of MCCollum as IU coach but 3 different AI engines don't seem to know what he looks like....One generated a black coach.....another one looked like Brownell and McCollum combined...LOL

I'd be at peace with this. It won't win the cannonball contest for the biggest splash, but screw public perception. It will splash for those who know college basketball and those who live and work within it's ranks. We've heard what other big name basketball minds think about McCollum and there's no reason not to believe in that kind of reputation. If he has a run in the NCAA tournament? Even better. It'll add a touch of splash people are looking for.

I don’t think this comports with the email tidbit from yesterday. But, I figured I share it.  

I think your friend is possibly correct. I have received that info from two other people I trust. Now on the reverse side Trilly said today that McCollum people are just not sitting down to go over IU and Iowa stuff to see which way he wants to go. So no done deal there.

I'm still being told there is a big fish out there.

Trilly said he asked someone close to McCollum what it would take for him to take the IU job over Iowa. The response was to make IU a football school and move it to Iowa lol
