Those are fair comparisons but with the comments from Chris it always seemed that the story was we met his demands. But semantics and i can see the inference to it being done. 
 
I may not understand the trolling idea. I think it is possible in the end JY, Chris ap, and RTZ have inaccurate info but you think they are making stuff up?  

Chris probably isn't but not sure on the others. It's very easy to troll and some love to do it

This might be one of the most idiotic pieces of sh1t I've read in a good while. 

Headline says 8 coaches have rejected IU after Woody announcement.  

This guy did absolutely no reporting on his own. It's all coming from someone named Joe Tipton. 

Let's break it down. 

Our top target was Dusty May, who just re-upped with Michigan. 

Then we went after Drew and Otzelberger, who are happy in their current situations. 

Then he mentions Chris Beard -- and the sordid debate that creates. 

Then Buzz Williams "has been mentioned" -- but his interest is minimal. 

Greg McDermott "might have interest, but it appears Indiana hasn't pursued him yet."

He then says that leaves us with two candidates: 

McCollum and Brownell. 

So, those are the eight who've "rejected" us. First of all, Beard has not rejected us. Williams has not rejected us. McDermott has not rejected us -- and neither have McCollum and Brownell. Maybe you could say May did "reject" us by signing the Michigan extension, but I'm not so sure Drew and Otz have "rejected" us. 

One guy signs an extension at his current school -- and that means 8 guys rejected us. What an asinine piece of garbage.

No. I specifically don't think Chris, Jerry, or AP are making stuff up.

I think they share what they hear when they hear it... and Chris specifically has been very clear about not speaking in absolutes. So the flak they get is often unwarranted IMO and just as annoying as the people complaining about trolling. 

RTZ just started actively posting on the board but I know he has been active elsewhere. This is the only IU board I follow so I can't speak to his track record there. I'm not inclined to put much stock in his word based on how he posts here. Whiplash today...

GP711 and Behind the Bench just joined the board and to my knowledge don't have a prior reputation. No idea if they're any more sourced than the average joe or just riding the wave of what's posted here and having fun playing make believe. The way they respond to people who respectfully challenge or question them, makes me think they are just trolling.

UK and UL fans have competent administrations who’ve won a title this century. I wouldn’t bank on replicating their results.
