I will indeed say that when we first got Archie I was pretty pumped and thought that all he needed was IU’s resources and he’d do well, but definitely turned out to be wrong. I wish him the best, but this job was too much for him and he couldn’t figure it out. He’ll be successful at a school with much less expectations than we desire here at IU.  Glad to see us being serious and getting rid of him though.

Honestly it feels kind of terrible cheering on somebody’s termination, especially a guy who is a good dude through and through, but it’s hard not to feel a sense of excitement or hope again about IU hoops today.

Hey, I'm as pleased as you all are with the news, but keep in mind this is only half the equation.  And while we're in a state of euphoria for the moment, it could be shortlived if Dolson doesn't make the right hire.  

I am not very bright so it will take me a couple years to realize it was a bad hire anyway so I am happy

Honestly I think more would’ve transferred if Archie had stayed. Bring in a serious replacement and I wouldn’t be surprised if they all stay (if the new coach wants them). 
 

Hopefully this increases the chances of Lander staying. He’s the one I was most worried about leaving.
