Ranger78 Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 We play like that on Saturday it’s going to be a 20 point loss. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners colonel06 and Loaded Chicken Sandwich 2 Quote
Popular Post VO5 Posted January 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted January 9, 2020 While the team has glaring issues and I’m still not fond at all of our staff’s decisions, I will give them credit for FINALLY benching someone (green) and getting guys to play hard. Good game from Al too. I just want us to be good so badly and don’t see it NOLA Hoosier, Stuhoo, HoosierDYT and 5 others 8 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Crazy we’re in year three and still having difficulties just playing hard. Can we just inject the players with effort and smarts?! A win is a win though. 12-3 is better than 11-4 with a bad loss. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Napleshoosier, Ranger78, DChoosier and 3 others 6 Quote

pumpfake Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 I did like the lineup playing down the stretch. Sub 40% FG shooting won't win many games. Nobody got injured. That's all I've got. colonel06 and hoosierdogg 1 1 Quote

woodenshoemanHoosierfan Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 12-3. Let’s not surrender the ship yet guys!Sent from my iPad using BtownBannersI haven't surrendered, but I am getting fed up with the lackadaisical play for long stretches. This team can beat most, if not all, teams in the B1G when they play with purpose. Some of that is on Archie, but most of it is on the players.Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk Whoozhers, Napleshoosier and thebigweave 3 Quote
rcbowla Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Nah. Better than Green I guess but Rob isn’t right. Not even that good on defense anymore. Can’t beat anyone off dribble. Can’t shoot. Has dribbling violations. Of our options, i guess but he isn’t the answer. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners mobile appThat was kind of my point. Nobody ahead or on their way in that will be a better option so he clearly has to be the guy right? Trust me I'd like the scenario to be better but when playing at a poker table with a 50 cent piece you kinda have to settleSent from my Pixel 3a XL using Tapatalk Quote
Hovadipo Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Win as many as we lose and get Rob to peak in March and we’ll be in the tournament and dangerous. Everything else will sort itself out. Josh, thebigweave and mamasa 2 1 Quote

Out of the 275 turnovers Green will be responsible for this year, he will have two passes that will make it to Sportscenter......That ratio is worth it for Green bleedhoosier, GloryDays and Deserthoozier 3 Quote
Aaron Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Good news: We will be underdogs moving forward in most games so we can play with a chip on our back and few expectations. Sometimes that's better. Napleshoosier 1 Quote
DChoosier Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 -We won -We made an adjustment to slow down a lacrosse player -We dug deep and played hard for an incredible 7 1/2 minutes. -Archie actually kept Green on the bench (!!!!!) -We won BGleas and bleedhoosier 2 Quote
Honkyman Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Rob played well at the very end but stunk the rest of the game and failed to score. Al was the only guard who played well. Quote

That just isn’t how his scheme works. He didn’t have those types of teams at Dayton and, based off his recruiting, I don’t expect it anytime soon. When we win, we’re going to win ugly. Then he will fail. He's got to adapt to Big play. Can't survive on gimmicky mid major crap. finky and pumpfake 2 Quote
biteoftheapple Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 I think during tonights game, the team came to understand that playing good defense is an important aspect to use. Quote
HoosierAloha Posted January 9, 2020 Posted January 9, 2020 Good news: We will be underdogs moving forward in most games so we can play with a chip on our back and few expectations. Sometimes that's better. If we could consistently play with effort we’d win most of our home games and steal a few on the road. We just aren’t tough, smart, or motivated. It took being down 10 to the worst team in conference for them to play with effort. Just baffling.
