Furst is a talented and skilled big. I really like him. Purdue or MSU, both would be awful but him staying in B1G country seems like it was always going to be the case. What’s worst is he will probably be a 4 year guy. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app IU/Butler/Notre Dame 1 Quote

HoosierTrav Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Expected this. It’s been no secret here in Fort Wayne. Kaufman the next to pop for IU? WayneFleekHoosier, IU/Butler/Notre Dame, thebigweave and 4 others 7 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Not too happy about this. I think Kaufman is as good or better, but both are excellent. Stinking Purdue. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners fwgreenway and IU/Butler/Notre Dame 2 Quote

IUc2016 Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Good get for them. Was never confident IU had a chance with him and figured he would go to Purdue or MSU. But since he chose Purdue it is good news for IU and Kaufman I assume. I know Louisville is still on him but a lot thought he was high on Purdue. Not anymore. Hoosierfan2017 Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Solid tweet from whoever runs the btownbanners twitter account. I hate the idea that it's good for "top recruits to stay in-state." If a top recruit doesn't want to come to IU, I want him as far away as possible. Purdue is the last place I want to see them go. WayneFleekHoosier, HoosierDYT, Hardwood83 and 3 others 6 Quote

TheWatShot Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 Indiana is literally the only state in the country where people could be happy about a recruit not choosing them "because he stayed in-state." This state is weird sometimes. IU/Butler/Notre Dame, Jam, hoohoome2 and 4 others 7 Quote
TheWatShot Posted March 3, 2020 Posted March 3, 2020 I'm trying to imagine Alabama football fans reacting positively to a recruit choosing Auburn. Nice to see instate talent staying home! LOL VO5, WayneFleekHoosier and lillurk 3 Quote
