The Texas narrative right now is pi$$ing me off to no end. “Oh, if they hadn’t had the ball$ to play OSU early they’d be in after A&M. So they really should be anyway and not penalized for it.” Stop it. If they hadn’t lost to a 3 win team with no HC and scored a late one so it didn’t look so bad and then gotten straight beat down by UGA they’d be in. Here’s my solution: if you lose 3 games, 25% of your schedule, you should be ineligible for the playoff. Period. No exceptions. If you’ve lost 1/4 of your games you don’t get to pray that you get on a heater late and compete with teams who’ve made it happen all year. If they get in I don’t even know what to say.

Kudos. It seemed insane to say then and it still seems insane this morning.

IU's website is a bit presumptuous -- says we'll play O$U next weekend. In reality, we could also play Michigan or the Duckies. If O$U wins, we play the hairless nuts. If Michigan wins and Oregon loses, we play the Wolf-erines. If Michigan wins and Oregon wins, we play the Quackers.

That explains the volume of the booing. IU fans booing PU and PU fans booing…..PU.

A&Ms loss last night in my opinion secured both OSU and Indiana byes. If Bama wins today and next week vs Georgia I could see both OSU and Indiana as the top 2 seeds

Always a great day when the Indiana Bulldogs defeat the Gonzaga Hoosiers! As much as I enjoy IU women's hoops, I had no intention of subscribing to FloHoops for two games -- so was following along on the stats when I could. Was kinda confusing at first.

Fisch is solid. He’s really close to having Washington humming, but has had 1 foot out the door since he landed in Seattle. If he brings Demond Williams with him and recruits at the same/similar level to Billy, Florida will be in really good shape really soon. He’s also an alum and knows what he’d be getting himself into there which is part of the battle. Was reading they’re looking at Sumrall too. That guy is an absolute ball coach. Whoever ends up with him will be sitting pretty.

There's a rumor out there that Fox wanted to move the Michigan-O$U football game to 3:30 p.m. so it wouldn't have to compete against IU-BCU hoops. (Of course, I created that rumor ...)
