  2. 14 of 28 from 3……name the last time we’ve hit that many 3s???? oh ya last game against Marquette!!!

  3. Never too early to talk bracketology. You can’t make the tourney this early in the season with your on court results but you can sure help your case by taking care of business. IU has won their first 3 games by 23 points or more with one of those teams being a power 5 team that will be competing for a tourney spot. Never a bad thing to start out your journey for a bid with a little cushion instead of playing catch up. IU is no longer bringing a knife to a gun fight with the metrics part of the equation. Glad this staff plays the game. This doesn’t guarantee anything but from my point of view following the metrics this is a breath of fresh air seeing IU enter the chat in playing the metrics game. Keep taking care of business and IUs first NET number should be a good one to start from

  4. Its wonderful winning these types of games by 30 instead of beating Army by 8.

  8. First half observations from me: The court is definitely a shade darker than the first game. Looks nice. Very happy we have Enright on this team. I am officially Concerned™ about Bailey in the B10... he is just not very strong. Sisley wanted the ball so bad on his 2nd three... loved to see him nail it. He has a big role on this team. Dorn looks like he can be a solid rotation player once he gets back up to game speed. I liked the little we've seen so far. Defense and rebounding have a looooong way to go. We're gonna need to win shootouts, kinda a lot, this year IMO. Milwaukee has a good coach. He's managing the game pretty well Loved seeing DDV rip into guys on the sidelines. Good to have a real coach again.

  9. DDV is pissed and laying into players. Its so nice to have a basketball coach now.

  10. I love expecting shots to go in instead of wishing players wouldn’t take them.

  11. Despite his quirks I'll always have a little bit of a soft spot for ol' Tom.

  12. I don’t know how anyone can complain about peacocks coverage when FS1 exists. 18% of my screen is covered by a garish scoreboard and the announcement of the cy young award.

  13. The whole bench picks up Conerway when he went to the deck…. I love this team

  14. It’s kind of funny that the number of posts expressing concern about Bailey is then met or exceeded by LaPhonso Ellis making him sound like the greatest big man ever….:)

  15. I realize this is a very “obvious” comment but…….the difference in our offense, compared to the past 8 years, is staggering. Just the complete opposite of virtually everything we used to do. LOVE IT!

  18. OK, Fox Sports -- when something happened 2 hours ago, it's no longer breaking news.

  19. Alec Lasley - With that made three by Jasai Miles, Indiana has three-straight games of 10+ made 3s to start the season. IU had three games of 10+ made 3s over the past two seasons combined.

  23. Michael Niziolek - Indiana basketball with 20 or more assists in three straight games for first time since 2012-13 season. Was a three-game stretch that season in the non-conference against North Carolina, Coppin State and Central Connecticut State

  25. Enright fights through screens exceptionally well. Tough kid.

  26. If we can get Bailey 5 off the backboard alley-oops a game he’ll be unstoppable

  27. Nick Dorn's debut coming off injury: 7 minutes, 8 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist Jasai looks more comfortable with each game. He's really athletic. Seems kind of likely we'll be ranked top 25 heading into Kansas State IMO

  28. Indiana - 105 The only school aside from IU that offered Tom Priller - 65

  30. Miles is very athletic. That could/will be handy in some defensive matchups. His streaky shooting limits things a bit but he’s got great athleticism. Dorn could be nice too. 2 of the best shooters I can remember. I really like Tayton and Reed. Worry still about size, defense, and rebounding but this offense his fun. Tonight we were looking for back cuts over and over and I love that. Lots of offensive sets and actions can work with this shooting. Sent from my iPad using BtownBanners

  32. I understand fans being a little slow to warm up to these guys. After all, we had ... Gallo for 5 years Leal for 5 years Reneau for 3 years Cupps for 2 years Mgbako for 2 years Those guys are all gone, and this team is entirely new. But it's fun to watch and the kids seem likeable. And while D-Rock doesn't seem to have a huge personality, he seems pretty engaging. Hoping when the B1G season rolls around, the Hall will be rockin' and rollin'.

  33. I'm enjoying this game and this team. At the same time, I realize the size and physicality of the Big Ten is going to be a huge challenge.

  36. I’m sure this will continue to be repeated ad nauseam, but dang it’s refreshing to see our coach on the floor coaching without also looking bewildered a la Archie lol

  37. Last year over 32 games we attempted 632 3-pt. shots (made 32%). This season in 2 1/2 games we've attempted 66 and have made 33 (50%)
