  1. SIAP. He intends to play for the Serbian National Team in July but then immediately join our team and will be included on the Puerto Rico trip. Raby described him as a development player vs. a project player with an existing skill set better than Harun Zrno. He is expected to play next season but may not log major minutes. Raby used Priller as an example of a project player so that should be all you need to know regarding Raby's use of development vs project.

  2. Top 50 RB out of Powder Springs, GA 247 Rivals On3 Let's hope he SLI for IUFB!!! He has quite the offer sheet. Watching his HUDL, he definitely fits the mold of a Coach Cig running back. Looks like he can work on his break away open field speed but he's got all the goods otherwise.

  3. Yeah, this is where I find Rabby sort of annoying. Perhaps someone on the staff told him it’s unlikely Ritisc will contribute this year, but I sort of doubt it and don’t see why he’d state that publicly. It’s sort of impossible to say that with any certainty right now. What if some of the guards currently thought to be above him on the depth chart don’t pan out and it’s obvious early on? Then it’s next man up and maybe he takes advantage of the opportunity. Guess the point I’m making is that it’s way too early to say who will or won’t contribute next year. Maybe Rabby’s speculation is more informed than anonymous posters, but it’s still speculation. And in terms of what we know for a fact, there’s next to nothing in common between Priller and Ritisc that makes them remotely comparable as “projects.”

  6. L A Sparks Public Relations Dept. - The Los Angeles Sparks have signed guard Grace Berger to a rest-of-season hardship contract. In 47 games over two WNBA seasons, the 26-year-old is averaging 3.9 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, converting 44.1% from the field and 46.2% from beyond the arc. Berger was drafted seventh overall by the Indiana Fever out of the University of Indiana. Ironically, the Sparks play the Storm (Mack Holmes) tonight.

  8. For the record he is currently on campus and his name is most often reported as Luigi Suigo. And at this point he's not a re-class candidate but in this era ($) everything is subject to change ($.00) lol

  10. It's pro ball. NAIA? NBA players who came out of the Serbian league include Jokic, Stojakovic, Divac, Bogdanovic, among others. And skill wise? Euro players in general are ahead of DI college players. The rules and level of athleticism are different, but the skill? Plenty of skill in the Serbian league.

  12. His OV is this Friday. Regarding his position, we currently have 7 on the roster and 4 commits (The Edge position is also included in this number). Depending on what technique is planned for each player will depend on how many a coach will want on his team (USC currently has 21 total on the roster or committed in this position, PSU has 13, Michigan has 14, etc. etc.). For example, coaches have to answer questions like do I have enough 3 technique guys on the roster? Or can this recruit play Edge as well? In today's defense where heavy rotation happens in this position most schools have 10 to 13 on the roster. Also, this position has heavy turnover in the transfer portal. If I had to guess, Coach Haines and Coach Kuntz probably want at least 12 to 13 on the roster to work with.

  14. IMO Raby's use of 'project' implied it would take a miracle for the player to become a legitimate contributor.

Well we aren’t really allowed to play defense. If we are too close to SGA he will jump into the defender and it will be a foul on the defender

  19. This is an exciting add. Is it possible that after having Javon last year at the point and having Conerway this year that there is a physical achetype we can expect moving forward? Will DD be looking for strong scoring pg's? That would be exciting. Definitely can get his own shot. Didn't know Kenny had Serbian ties. There has to be a Serbian man-child big over there.

  24. Can only take so much from highlight reels of course but from my amateur eye, looks like pretty good floor vision / set ups, good overall looking stroke, decent step back / turnaround jumper, decent burst, with development needed on handle.

You really don't deserve to win a championship if your best player goes an entire finals game without hitting a single shot.

  32. Though he was a 2/3, but from this video it looks like he was playing point guard the majority of the time. I really like that. Also seems to be playing against primarily zones, which tends to limit driving opportunities and ramp up distance shooting opportunities.

And 13 is the magic number to not go over to avoid revenue sharing monetary penalties.

  34. "Developmental player?" "The 6-foot-4 Ristic is averaging 13.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game on 51.3% shooting including 39.6% from three, and 86% at the stripe in the Basketball League of Serbia, Jovic reports. He plays for KK Dynamic in the top-level league in Serbia. Ristic could play lead guard or off the ball for Indiana. Multiple sources tell TDH Ristic is joining the Indiana team for the 2025-26 season. The 19-year-old Ristic will play for Serbia’s U20 team this summer. He shot over 42% from three with that team last summer while posting 9.4 points, 2.4 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 21.6 minutes per game."

  35. Thanks for sharing. I find it odd to use Priller as an example. Ritisc playing international ball for Serbia whereas if memory serves, we beat out Incarnate Word for Priller. Maybe he won’t be a big rotation player, but Priller seriously lacked talent, and I don’t think that’s the situation here

Terrible game all around by Indiana except for parts of 3rd quarter/early 4th. Can't win turning the ball over and playing awful defense. Gotta be frustrating

  40. I like this pick up from out of the blue. Another shooter and a combo guard with good size. He'll also be 20 at the start of the season with experience against players in the top Serbian league. From looking at his stats it looks like he is a decent rebounder for a guard, is a willing passer, and can get steals (although not consistently). It looks like he can get a bit sloppy with the ball, though. I guess consistency might be something he needs to work on. Edit: Reading on peegs that he's expected to be a depth/development player next year so don't expect too much in year 1.

  41. Oh Hell yes, Serb 200 pound well tested shooter/lead guard-wing. yes, I’d like another forward but this is a great pickup. Love, love love that we’re adding an experienced Euro ball player, team just got deeper and better. And this kid looks tough.

  45. About the same as Mike Woodson's teams is the ceiling? What is the floor? Opinions are what we're here for and you are certainly entitled to yours, but I'm curious what the basis is for your opinion. Can't be roster quality because Woodson failed with far more roster star power, and Kelsey succeeded greatly last year with significantly less roster buzz. Isn't it more accurate to state that the new era is currently a big, fat question mark, but is being led by a staff that has flat-out produced results wherever they've been.
