DG was 35/50 of his team's points. RP was 33/50 for his team on the same night. Very likely Zionsville is better than the team Brentwood Academy beat. Also, their State Tournament was in a college gym that seats just over 5,000, and it was half full. Our Sectionals are in sold out high school gyms that dwarf that hold thousands more. Hard to believe Romeo wants to take a step back. We'll see.

Justin, Race, and De'Ron are awesome. They're going to be incredible upperclassmen. Man I want this team to find success.

Because that is exactly what happened.  UCLA was #2 even though they never had a prayer.  Garland is a punk.  Ive been saying it and I'll keep saying it.  It is true.

That's such a smart play by Archie to send players to watch Romeo's game, because he still has his 2 visits to use.  Plus Romeo can still visit IU this month.

It's one thing for the coach to show he wants you, it sends a completely different, yet just as effective, message for the players you would be playing with to show up and show they want you on the team too.

Romeo is good. But that was 3 times in a row FC held him in check. I want him to come to IU, but he's a soft player and he takes a lot of shots that he shouldn't take.

Regardless, I'm above calling a 17/18 year old a punk and accusing him of manipulating grown adults, especially adults in the profession of journalism. Mainly because of the lack of facts, but also to avoid becoming a whining, bitter punk myself.

I was told by a poster he has never seen any absolute quotes concerning Vandy getting getting Romeo. The one I quoted here is one and there have been many more from him and others.

Everyone loves a susnshine pumper, everyone hates the guy that views the negative (even though, that's generally been Indiana basketball outcomes when it comes to recruiting and results).

People probably view me as negative too. I think that's unfair to me because I read and react to all actions and reactions.

I will be a sunshine pumper type when our results and actions merit such reaction.

For me, once we land our first true 5 star I will alter my prism of where I think IU recruiting can become.

I've been willing to think that Archie will do the things Sean will do to land recruits. However, this FBI probe has again changed my prism thinking we won't take risks.

I think we generally have a shot at ANY high 3 star in the country. And most low 4 stars. I need to see proof to be confident of 5 star recruiting.

I don't need to prove it. All I know is I will be laughing very hard if Winstons little ploy to get Romeo to vandy fails. It would be priceless.
