Hoosierfan2017 Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Honestly I didn't see anything wrong with Skip's tweet. It's very far down on the list of dumb things he's said. BtownBanner6, swatford, barrettballer and 1 other 3 1 Quote

It means awesome or cool. But isn't TJD using it backward. He's from Center Grove which is the rich side of town. If he is going to say "That's tuff" shouldn't he be playing for Greenwood high school? Iugradman, Bigred3588, thebigweave and 2 others 3 2 Quote

IUrocker Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Saw a pretty good comment on my Facebook newsfeed from a Purdue fan. “Congrats IU, your almost as good as Purdue now.” (And yes, he said “your”, that’s wasn’t me, lol)...but yeah, I don’t know why I can’t just laugh that stuff off knowing they’re full of it. We’ll be almost as good as them now, hmmm....Most Purdue fans just really get under my skin. LamarCheeks and mamasa 2 Quote

Popular Post CSP Posted May 2, 2018 Popular Post Posted May 2, 2018 As an educator, this was the reason I wanted Romeo at IU. Look at this picture... in the most important moment of his 18 year old life, he takes time out of it to recognize a young fan (with his custom made jersey on it) to smile and give him a high five and a hand shake. It wasn't like the kid was on stage either... Romeo walked 10ft or so to get to the kid. Awesome. His character is his best attribute. Mr. Langford, enjoy your time in Bloomington.. you already have a huge fan in me. Bowhunter, hoosierfan6157, MemphisHoosier and 34 others 37 Quote

And very few people are talking about us contending for a national championship. Obviously my statement is somewhat of an opinion, but I think it will become abundantly clear over the course of next year. Dalton26 and Iugradman 2 Quote
Class of '66 Old Fart Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Yet another sportswriter weighing in: https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/indiana-lands-romeo-langford-as-archie-miller-keeps-another-hoosier-state-hero-at-home/ In the previous five classes -- i.e., 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 -- there were 23 players from the state of Indiana who were either four-star or five-star prospects, according to 247 Sports. Trey Lyles was one. Caleb Swanigan was another. Jaren Jackson was another. And there were 20 more. But only one -- James Blackmon in the Class of 2014 -- signed with Indiana. Only one. Out of 23. Which is difficult to comprehend. But there are four players from the state of Indiana in the Class of 2018 whom 247 Sports lists as either four-star or five-star prospects -- none bigger than Langford. And Indiana secured commitments from three of the four, including Langford, much to the delight of those who wear candy-striped pants proudly and fill Assembly Hall annually. ellen.walden, Dalton26, Geometry Hoosier and 3 others 6 Quote

Popular Post TheWatShot Posted May 2, 2018 Popular Post Posted May 2, 2018 The Kansas board is royally pissed off at Tim Langford for saying he didn't want Romeo anywhere near the FBI investigation. Hoosier Guy Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 This guy is going to be great. Romeo is the perfect ambassador for the new era of IU basketball. The cornerstone recruit to help bring them back to the elite. And can’t say enough about Archie Miller. He’s going to be here a long time Iugradman 1 Quote

They think the Langfords are helicopter parents and he's going to IU against his own will. Lot of insecure fans over there lately. Before Langford's announcement the other day, someone remarked they had no chance of getting him because they were up against the brother of Scott Drew and the brother of Sean Miller, and that was as sleazy as it gets. I commented that was hilarious coming from a program that has players with eligibility concerns seemingly every season. No one responded to my post, but I did get 4 down votes. chicagoHOOSIER, thebigweave, Josh and 6 others 7 2 Quote
