Popular Post Demo Posted 20 hours ago Popular Post Posted 20 hours ago 1 of the takeaways from this game needs to be that you need to force feed Nick Marsh. That kid is nasty big, strong and fast and college CB’s are overmatched against him. He is a big play waiting to happen and he didn’t do a single thing today that he couldn’t do to any team they play. Jeff Flabjohns, AkronHoosier, 323SGrant and 10 others 13 Quote

KingPG21 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Is this the game that finally gets people to stfu about Hoover? Still zero turnovers on the year. But dude is a baller DChoosier and dfwhoosier 2 Quote
IUHoosier5 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Right after Nebraska went up 11, I said, “let’s see what Hoover’s got.” Well, he showed me he’s got BALLS. Heckuva win. Truly a heckuva win. DChoosier 1 Quote
DChoosier Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I’m writing script for ESPN: Florida losing to South Carolina proves that both South Carolina and Florida are really good IU barely beating Nebraska proves that both IU and Nebraska are really bad. IU5355 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Absolutely incredible win. Nebraska is a good team with a really good QB and this was their superbowl, a chance to prove them selves. Nebraska took away our A game which is running the ball and we still found a way to win. Hoover made the throws when it mattered and Haines made incredible adjustments the second half. This is what good teams do. Even when you have them on the ropes you still expect them to win. Screw the spread, just keep winning and improving. KingPG21 and FWHoosier84 2 Quote

Tough to tell from TV but my impression was they were crowding the line and taking away the run. Then after a couple big Becker plays they started shading help his way leaving Marsh 1-on-1. Either way, every week they can only take away 2/3 of marsh, Becker, or run game. Someone is gonna get to make plays mike vannice and AkronHoosier 2 Quote

JSHoosier Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago You take the win, that's about as ugly as a win can be. Hoover made the throws when we needed him to. FWHoosier84 and Brass Cannon 2 Quote

WayneFleekHoosier Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago WOW WOW WOW. That had all the feels of Iowa last year. I almost gave up at 17-6. Go Hoosiers! I for sure was extremely Daunted today. BBTB, Napleshoosier, hoosierfan6157 and 1 other 4 Quote

Had the DPI, but for the most part he was good. Honestly our DBs were good in coverage. They were asked to be in coverage a long time on a lot of those plays Quote
Hardwood83 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I'm an IU football fan, so will take any conference road win...but my expectations are lowered. This is nowhere near a NC contending team. Still top 5 all-time at IU (very shallow pool!) so gonna try to enjoy it. I still think this team is more talented than last season, but they are missing "it." And Moore, Ponds and Coogan. No idea why they couldn't run the ball today, but I am POSITIVE there are many much better D-lines than Nebraska's. First game in the Cig era that IU's staff was clearly out-coached too. Eye-opener. DChoosier Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago We knew what we had when Mendoza was under the gun in a tight game but what about this year????. It was GREAT to see Hoover step up in crunch time. pumpfake 1 Quote
