I hate every Purdue player that has ever been. If DDV wanted to bring one on staff I'll welcome them. As soon as they walk away though, I be hating again.

Too lazy to look for Smokey gif to insert here

Robbie Hummel submits his application.  :)

You all focused on the incident with EJ.

Frazier continued to trash IU after that--on social, above and beyond negative recruiting, etc.

I'm not trying to change hearts and minds, but you've missed the point.

Frazier never let go of what happened in 2006, and because of his inability to move on a decade and a half later, I'd prefer another coach.

So many continue to comment on this without any knowledge of him and his vitriol for IU throughout the years.

And if anyone of you were actually privy to the stuff he'd say, you all wouldn't want that person representing your program.

It's like how all of you would take an offense--some slight, some major--to an obnoxious jerk spouting off about how terrible IU elsewhere in your life.

Can you enlighten the rest of us what we aren’t privy to and what years these unforgivable offenses occurred?

I remember that game and what happened. It was a punk move from Frazer at the time and it was appropriate that a Gordon banked three beat them in their house. The Gordon family was also submitted to unnecessary abuse during that game that rises above a rivalry situation. Of course people can change and I don't know anything about what Frazer may have done on social media. But from what I saw at that game, I dont want him anywhere near IU basketball unless he has made amends. I think some on here don't understand how antagonist that situation was. I guess I'm saying don't dismiss the ops opinion without complete knowledge of the situation.

Agreed.  Did we learn from Roshown McLeod?

Chester Frazier is a life long IU hater.  And very open about it.  Pass.

Dude it was a rivalry game and people were talking **** boohoo.  None of the players were doing that.  I am just now realizing how soft people are.

Has nothing to do with being soft. I'm not from that generation. I didn't have a problem with the chest bump. I was like ok back it up on the court. And they didn't. But the stuff with the Gordon family was out of line. That has nothing to do with being soft. It has everything to do with sportsmanship and respecting the game. I don't care if Frazer is on the staff or not, it's not my call. Maybe he's a different guy now. Maybe not. I just know that the people and things that I don't like don't change much over the years. It's CDD's call to make and I'm good with whatever.

Yes, discussing the pros and cons in an intellectual conversation of adding a long time IU hater to the IU staff makes somebody soft.

Yeesh.

Dude he was a college student.  Do you realize how many dumb things kids do from the age of 18-25?  I am so sure you were perfect.  This is a new level of immaturity that I thought was only at my daughter’s 12 year old level.

Calling somebody soft, then going to an extreme of "I am so sure you were perfect"...then calling somebody else immature??  Self awareness isn't your strong suit

Nick Norton is joining the staff according to rabs

As CDDV fills his staff it will be interesting to see if he keeps former/current staffers at their current level (Norton as Director of Player Development at WVU) vs promoting them into new roles.
