Have always liked Bozich. And I really like him describing Cal as “scuttling” the IU-UK series. That’s as subtle as a kick in the head.

Used to read Bozich's bball journalism when he was with the Courier-Journal, he's genuinely a trendsetter and with 50 years of sports journalism, one of the best out there. Well earned retirement.

Interesting side-note that per Bozich's article on his interview with DeVries, IU is still waiting on both waiver requests - Leal and Goode. Thought the Leal request was rejected, but apparently not.

They are taking their sweet time with that waiver.  At this rate, the semester will start before they find out.

I think folks were just speculating that he was the odd man out because of Ristic, but that's just people guessing.

Or you could substitute hoping for guessing.  I don’t see what he really adds, but I admit that I’m biased.  But if Coach DeVries thinks he’s worth another year, so be it.   :)

I'm a little worried. Coach and his family love Pfau golf course. Hopefully doesn't become a problem like it did for the last coach. I'm just kidding about it being a problem, but he is there a lot. Super nice guy

Chris, is he shopping at Fresh Thyme yet? Maybe he’s a Krogucci sort of guy. I’m sure he’s enjoying Bloomington more than Morgantown!

I have seen him at Mother Bear's west side, Zagreb's, and Pfau a couple of times. My buddy did say they say him at Kroger east side and also City Church

Or RMK.

This is definitely a Tom Crean – style move

Well in fairness, in Bobby's 1st year as head coach, just how much stuff did the average student have in the way of worldly possessions?  Basically all I had in 1966 was a small radio, a Royal portable typewriter and my clothes.

And here I was thinking you went to college before the invention of radios and typewriters.

So RMK didn't help push your Model T up the hill? For those interested; an article on dorm chic back in OF's days:

First the football coach communications and involved with students/fans and now the basketball coach who comfortably and in his natural way (nothing flashy)….students/fans like this and has been missing and it just grows on most everyone creating a healthy culture.  It’s they are present in the same place…..

Not a culture of we are over here better than you who are over there.
