So Coach Cig, what have you done for us lately?  I'm truly feeling guilty at coming out of my bunker and actually following IU football after sooooo many years of pretending we didn't have a program.

Some early reports the game will have a 3:30 kickoff but I think that's still to be determined.  DraftKings Sportsbook opened with us as a 7-point favorite over the Spartans (4-4) )(2-3).   GO HOOSIERS!

Mgoblog produces tons of film- and data-intensive preview content, and of course UM just played MSU. So check their thorough previews of MSU from last week:

In ‘87 a friend and I borrowed his uncles camper and drove up to East Lansing to watch AT and IU win the BT.  Somehow we were able to park the RV at a sorority (met some girls in Florida for spring break and they got that cleared).  Nice crisp fall day, great weekend hanging with them but they manhandled us. The girls made sure to let ever know we were Hoosiers.  Still mad about that game. We did not even seem to put up a fight.  Still that was a great team and a pretty fun weekend. I hope whoever is playing younger me this weekend and makes that road trip in uncle’s RV gets to see a big win!

Exciting BEFORE game started.

AT 10 carries for 23 yards.

Lorenzo White 56 carries for 292 yards

I watched that game and it can actually be googled.  Keith Jackson and Bob Griese (said MSU should win) ABC TV

MSU ranked 13   IU ranked 16

MSU had a highly ranked defense and IU ranked near last or last in big ten.

The late Dave Schnell out with appendicitis surgery and Qb Kramme played in his place.

Watched Michigan State-Michigan Saturday night for a bit. Those are two very average 6-6 like football teams. Even if Kurtis doesn't play, as long as the team steps up like they did Saturday, Indiana should win by 10 plus.

Game will be won in the trenches with Kurtis or with Tayven.

Indiana is #2 in B1G in Rush yards. Michigan State is #12 in the B1G against the run.

On the flip side, Michigan State #13 in rush yards, IU is #1 against the run.

Outside of Iowa, Michigan State has looked meh this year. If this was a primetime game, I'd be a little more worried.

If Kurtis can play, play him. If there are doubts still, I'm fine with Jackson. That the vibe I got yesterday from reading different quotes and pieces.

Lurked here for a long time but thought it was appropriate to reach out.  Going to The MSU game in Lansing and wanted to know if there are specific sections that will be majority IU fans in Spartan Stadium.  Relatively new to the travel game but did go to the Rose Bowl and ended up congregating with a group of IU fans.  Really just wondered.  I also have questions about pre gaming activities but I will post with questions about that later.

I get people being upset with being nickel and dimed by streaming services but Peacock is one you should have anyhow. They have the best content out of all services imo

It's been a handful of years since I was in EL, but I believe the visiting section is in the northeast corner of the stadium. There was a chunk in the corner at field level, and above that in the far north section of the 2nd deck. Sections 4 and 105, or thereabout, upon a quick google of the seating chart. Those things can change pretty often though.

Really nice stadium (in a really crappy campus) and a great atmosphere. Should be a blast.
