......An IU friend of mine texted me about an hour ago asking if I was aware that we got Adam Olsen from South Alabama. I said that I am aware that he's in the portal and that we might have interest but that I am not aware that we actually got him. He responded that a S Alabama friend & alum told him. When I followed up asking if he's convinced that his friend would know he responded with a fairly compelling answer.

Sounds like tampering.  Our punishment should be not getting Adam Olsen.

I really hope the staff can get it done on some of these guys. We really need to make the tournament this year to repair our name/reputation and build.  

My concern has always been yes we have money and playing time, but what else draws guys here?  Like you said, better first year would have gone a long way.  Hopefully this year with a full staff we can get it done.  

I expect no less than Louisville, Kentucky and Michigan's first year. I think Dolson has expressed that or something similar.

It's a strange group that he is listing but he definitely looks like a kid who can play in against P5 teams.  Freshman last year, averaged 18.4 ppg, 4.5 reb and 4.2 AST.

Players can't even make visits yet.  We've barely heard from any player who has them lined up regardless of team.  It's still the quiet period.

I'm not ready to throw in the towel...but the So Alabama kid sure doesn't excite me, if that turns out to be true.

Can we at least wait until we have our portal haul, to start complaining about our portal haul?

And if we do happen to get some of the names mentioned... Burton, Fru, and Estrella are all currently rated as top 30 transfers.
