Sent from my SM-S906U using BtownBanners mobile app And if you think a Kansas, Duke, UNC, (insert any school you want to be here), wouldn’t do the same if they were on the run we were, then I would be extremely shocked. Does that make it right or wrong? No. But like one poster once said, “don’t put a shít sandwich on my plate and be mad when I complain you’re feeding me shít sandwich” Now this is just my opinion, so I’m not trying to say it’s right or wrong or telling you what to think, just staying my thoughts. The issue is who they choose to spend it on. Somebody somehow convinced them Woodson can turn it around or they just like the access to the head coach. No other explanations I can think of.Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk Deserthoozier 1
Five Prime Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 Just listened to Brian Evans rant on JMV about the state of the program under Woodson. He makes some very good points. thebigweave, southsidehoosier, DLG3 and 1 other 4

southernindianahoosier2 Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 Sorry to keep bumping this, but did anyone ever explain what the Woody was a Bridge comment meant? Bridge to a specific plan or coach, what the heck was their strategy when they hired him?

Yea, someone earlier on here said they are somewhat swaying away from May and targeting Drew still, with Tang rumors looming around. Or that is what they have read recently.

RoncalliHoosier Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 2 hours ago, HinnyHoosier said: Whether they actually said it or not is moot in the big picture. It is however an easy scapegoat when the most concerning thing was how bad the team and the trajectory of the program looks and you'd rather not say it out loud. There's a level of toxicity within every large fan base. But when it appears to be building stronger and stronger, there's a reason for that. Every symptom has a cause. The optics are his decommitment had to do with the announcement that Woodson was coming back for 24-25. There were reports that Liam had decided to decommit as early as December/January, but was waiting to see if Woodson would be fired so his LOI release would be automatic. When the news broke that Woodson would return, Liam made the announcement and asked for his release. But yeah, it was the fans that drove him away. LMAO. It was Woodson's coaching and the lack of supporting cast ("recruiting") that caused Liam to reconsider. Deserthoozier, Silat Player and thebigweave 3
