I wonder if Ohio State going with Diebler could in any way mean that Dusty told them no and could mean something for us at all. Still me clinging to hope I guess.

The fans should get some type of compensation for watching the last 25 years. Some of those teams were sp bad having to watch that tape would probably violate the Geneva Conventions.

If our next coach is in the tournament I don’t expect us to retire Woodson tomorrow.

Here my thing.

1. I’d wouldn’t put the odds at 0% with how much the fanbase has been turned off.

2. I think May would be the only one with enough internal support if a move were to be made now. (I still strongly believe better options potentially available).

3. The transfer portal timing would be incredibly tricky with getting a coach in the tournament. Who reaches out to potential players? Lots of behind the scenes planning would be necessary for a team needing 7-10 portal players.

4. New coach could bring a certain amount with him. But the transfer portal timing during the first 2 weeks would be tricky.

Because they would want to keep Mike if it doesn’t work out with another coach. We want him to keep working the portal.

I was wondering about the timing and how that could work against a change.  What date for the portal close?  Wondering if a new staff would have time to both fill a lot of openings and build a staff

Watching any Sec team play has been night and day watching any B1G team play and it’s been that way for a couple years now.   Different sport being played

I would put a change at 1%. But if we’re waiting for a Pearl to finish before talking to him then I wouldn’t retire Woodson yet.

That’s unfortunate. I think I just heard Jimmy say Auburn is the only team in the country in the top 10 of both offense and defense metrics.

Gotcha, yeah I figured maybe that could be the case as well. So if it’s not Dusty when you say “if our next coach is in the tournament..”, is it fair to still hope there’s someone other than Dusty we could be getting other than it for sure being Woodson coming back?

UConn is 1 in offense and 11 in defense so I would take that one also

I don’t know what it looked like on TV, but in person I knew we were in trouble before warmups were over with no XJ. The athleticism difference was stark. Even with X that probably was a 15pt+ L.

I know nothing but for some reason I feel like there's still like a 40% chance of a change being made. When you take all data points throughout this season and add them up it screams a change needs to be made. If this were any other school I'd put it at 80% but alas it is IU.

If you are a person that only watches IU or just the B1G then it would be quite to shock to see how other conferences play.   You really see the difference with multiple games on at a time.   B1G for me is probably 4th or 5th when I rank conferences i want to watch
