He’s had enough? He was told to post it.  It’s what they do.  They won’t do anything or turn until they are told to.  They know it’s happening but will sugarcoat until they are told to.  It’s how they have always operated.

I find it funny how every few days the story changes in this coaching search. For a few days it would is they are definitely firing Woodson and they have a coach already in place. A few days later they throw out that Woodsy will probably be back. These people know II fans and this is just about clicks.

I enjoy hearing it. But I expect him back but hope they can get Pearl or Oats and move on this offseason.

If Woodson is back for a fourth year, he may do great, but I’d say the odds are about as good as winning the power ball, finding Bigfoot, and those guys actually finding treasure on Oak Island all on the same day.

Same reason Cora Breckenridge had so much power back in 2001 and why we were forced to keep Mike Davis.  The others are afraid of any push back and mostly of what they might be called.  Similar to how we got Sampson and not Beilein.  Sucks.

Seems like a great day for some good ‘ol reassurance from a certain someone, ha. Hoping maybe there’s a little more juicy stuff Chris needed confirmation for that we’d be happy about, or if everything he’s already said up to this point is what he had that he needed confirmed. Maybe we are in the stage of just trying to steer things in a different direction as far as rumors go so that what’s really going on can be kept more on the down low.

I ask that because it would seem hard for me to believe anyone who cared about CMW on a deeply personal level and understands how ugly next year is likely to be would be encouraging him or pulling the strings to ensure he is still the HC. If we get to 1 January 2025 and we are worse/equally bad than we are this year, his seat isn't going to be hot it is going to be nuclear and the media is going to be brutal. I just don't understand how QB could want that for his friend unless he is completely out of the loop when it comes to CBB.

Stop trying to apply logic to this situation. Instead, call up one of your buddies from high school - the guy that always managed to talk you into some crazy @$$ situation - and go get rip roaring drunk. Then tell your buddy to convince you that he can coach Indiana basketball. This will help you with two things. It will get you into the same headspace as the current clown orgy running the show, and it will probably convince you that your crazy high school buddy is more qualified to coach this team than our current coach. Either way, the liquor will help you understand why QB is sticking by Woodson. Once you remove all logic, it makes perfect sense.

Because everyone is scared of him. He is vice president of the Pacers and has the Simons backing him. No one wants to cross QB. He is letting everyone know that Woodson is getting a 4th year. He won't even have a conversation about it. 

Another sad part is if he makes the tournament next year, then he will probably get a 5th year.

.....so now it seems like your saying it's a heavy lean for Woodson to be back for a 4th year? That is terrible news to start out this morning.

Just to clear everything up I was told that if Dolson could get a proven P5 coach to come then we could move on from Woody. Then Sunday I got info that Pearl & IU had agreed to the numbers. So my assumption would be that Woody wouldn't be back because we had Pearl. Little did I know that Buckner is not having any of this. He won't talk about it, he is adamant that Archie got 4 years, Woody gets 4 years. 

No one knows where Whitten is at on all of this.

I know it's probably that simple in your small little world. But more than that it's who you talk to. If you are talking to someone in the athletic department than they want him gone. Most former players want him gone. If you are talking to someone in Buckner's camp he's back there are no questions asked. People say they want info but then when I give it you accuse me of doing things for clicks. I don't get anything for sharing what I hear.

It's why I told everyone Pat Kraft needed to be the AD.  He wouldn't tolerate this nonsense from Quinn.  You can't have Quinn Buckner's ****** running the AD.
