One could argue that after Sampson was busted for the same thing at Oklahoma, he was foolish to do it here... and despite the obviously minuscule violation, it did violate the spirit of "compliance", and was duly penalized... of course, as with most things, Indiana overreacted, fell on its proverbial sword and gave itself what was tantamount to the death penalty - a situation from which the program has never truly recovered...

Forgive the digression... yes, Woodson has no clue and no idea where to even look for one... probably couldn't find his @$$ with both hands and a flashlight some days.

Yeah we talked about it probably 6 pages back. The guy who broke the info today told us about it a couple weeks ago but confirmed it today.

That was discussed as well... kind of the job of the team captain (at least those not named Xavier Johnson) to be the chew toy for the rest of the team when things go south...

If this is the case…sounds like players might be forcing the issue on their own. IU possibly can’t keep Woodson if this has any truth.

Will Dolson talk to the players to try to get a sense of who is leaving and try to understand why they are leaving?

A guy over on HSN said he had heard that Woodson had lost tbe team. if he comes back there are 5 players who can come back that won't according to the that poster.

So what is he going to do to fix that? It is going to be hard to have experienced players when everyone hits the portal.

All of this really makes me wonder what the chances of Woodson returning are. Seems like it’s less likely as the days go by.
