Well this years team and program have been such a giant disappointment, and getting blown out in many of our loses, I can see why fans look at it as a moral victory.  We just played a top 10 team down to the wire, with a chance to win on their home floor.  These fans need something to be happy about and hang their hat on.  I am not claiming moral victory here by any stretch, but I actually thought they would get beat by 20+.  Except for the excessive amount of turnovers and coaching blunders, this was the hardest we played all year and our best game.  I want to know where that has been all season and I want to know where last nights Galloway has been all season.  It’s like they know their backs are against the wall with their season and coach.  It’s like they are fighting for both.

I guess but this team was also picked to finish 2nd in the big ten. Most expected 13 or 14 big ten wins. He would have to win every single game to finish with that record. I'm not giving him any props he was supposed to play like this every game.

No matter what is said, I'll never defend sending DMs on social media to players or family.  It's some of the scummiest behavior possible.  Rant and rave on your own page and forums like this all you want, but leave the players and family out of it.  You are mentally unwell if you are sending messages to anybody you don't personally know, especially a negatively charged DM.

In regards to the TO thing from last night. I have no issue with not calling a TO there. I do have a problem lying about it and throwing his players under the bus. I also have an issue when down 3 with nearly 3 seconds on the clock, launching the in bound pass to the other baseline where 4 purdue players are waiting for it.

Agreed.  He spent a fortune in the portal (i.e. had a blank check) and this is the best he can do.  He doesn't recruit.  What magic does anyone think he's going to find to ever do appreciably better?

I'm fine with letting him coach out the season IF it means we grab a 'plum' replacement.

100%. So much of this. Imo, that’s the #1 reason for the message boards. It’s a place where fans can critical.  I don’t even like general negative stuff on the socials at all, let alone DMs and general player attacks.  I wish this sentiment would be shared but as I said  earlier low IQ and low class individuals haven’t been taught proper behavior.  
 

Which is the main reason players and families need to ignore that crap.  These messages aren’t coming from people that deserve the time of day.

Well to be fair, there was no "pretty" proceeding the  please, so it should be reported to IUPD as a hate crime
