You can tell Fife would love to say everything that happened while he was here but didn't do it. Loved what he said about how these players have no idea what it means to play at IU and it is heavy the coaches doesn't instill that pride IUGRAD06, RoadRage, TadQueasy and 4 others 7

I would be surprised if that were Kopp. In previous tweets/talks where he has talked about college basketball, he's been pretty level headed. And he's more humorous than SDB (who doesn't seem to understand humor). Kopp took Dave Portnoy out with a single tweet. SDB doesn't understand very simple things. go iu bb, Home Jersey, Hoosierfanyuh and 1 other 4
RaceToTheTop Posted January 30, 2025 Posted January 30, 2025 My dad coached high school basketball (actually coached three different sports -- football, basketball, and golf -- think he probably put in about 80 or so seasons when they are all added together). When he because a head varsity basketball coach, he had a father of a kid he cut who wrote a 'letter to the editor' which was (stupidly) published in the local paper. Guy -- who was the town drunk -- said it was 'guys like (my father) who caused kids to end up in jail'. Idiots are everywhere and are going to write ****. CAA will make sure that other of their clients in basketball and broadcasting come to Woodson's defense. I wouldn't be surprised if these "threats" are plants trying to distract from Woodson underperforming with good rosters 4 years straight. I don’t know, I worked with CAA for many years and they are a bunch of woke up on 3rd and thought they slapped a triple people I’ve ever met. I said before and I say it again, Woodson isn’t going away quietly in the night, he will be leaving kicking and screaming while putting our basketball program in shambles and making us even more of a laughing stock than we were. He’s going to try to make it where no good coach wants to come here and this is coming from a man who said he loves this university and wants them to win B10 and National Championships! Someone talks with a fork tongue. That's why you force him out now, prior to the search/negotiations with the next coach. No need to wait until the end of the season when the search/transfer portal are so close.

Pseudonyms and the Debate over the Constitution (csac.history.wisc.edu) ...An excerpt: The most prolific and profound public debate in American history occurred over ratifying the Constitution in 1787–1790. Much of this debate occurred in the print media—newspapers, broadsides, and pamphlets. Thousands of anonymous essays signed with a pseudonym appeared either as a single, stand-alone essay or as part of a series. After their original printing, essays were often reprinted in other newspapers and were sometimes compiled in pamphlet anthologies with other like-minded essays. For a wider distribution, individual essays were occasionally published as a pamphlet; while broadsides (usually a single sheet of paper printed on one side) often targeted a local audience sometimes preceding an election. The longest series of newspaper essays consisted of eighty-five numbers of The Federalist written by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay under the pseudonym of “Publius.” These essays were subsequently published in a two-volume edition in March and May 1788. ... Furthermore, during a time when dueling was not uncommon, writers were reluctant to acknowledge their authorship of harsh or abusive rhetoric that might provoke a duel. Eleazer Oswald, the volatile printer of the Philadelphia Independent Gazetteer, regularly threatened writers and even other printers who alienated him. In January 1786, Oswald challenged fellow Philadelphia printer Mathew Carey to a duel after Carey printed a scurrilous poem written by Carey that maligned Oswald. Oswald survived the duel unscathed, but Carey suffered a serious leg wound that hobbled him for fifteen months. It was reported that a number of Philadelphia printers and authors cautiously avoided Oswald for fear of being challenged to a duel. ... Makes me think of our Haiku for Mike Woodson. I believe that Dolson will need to have a handshake deal with a coach's agent prior to Woodson being fired. Although most of us would be fine with anyone but Woodson, he has his influential supporters that are going to require Dolson to have a "name" coach wrapped up. If he can't get that name, I'm fearful will be stuck with Woodson another year.
