The BOT and our fanbase have been on completely different wavelengths for a long time and it probably won't ever change. So infuriating.

Without a doubt the most interesting thing about that game (in the first half anyway) will be how short of a leash the crowd has with Woody / the team before they start with the groans, boos, etc. I think the groans will continue happening pretty early when there is sloppy or bad play... Boos for lack of effort... They probably need to be down 20+ before they start chanting to fire Woody though if I had to bet

Woodson has lost to northwestern 5 straight times. Last time that happened, JFK and Dean Martin weren’t even born. The PGA tour and NHL didn’t exist. Women couldn’t vote and Babe Ruth had never hit a home run yet and we were still 4 years away from the end of WW1.

Can any of that work for “firing with cause”

Fire Woodson now . He has no clue how to run offense. They come out of time outs and the vast majority of times get a terrible shot. The team is finally playing hard but look so lost on offense.

No one saw Oats either. That's why he landed at Alabama. 

Oats won't the last good mid-major coach to do well at the high major. 

IU won't hire any of those good coaches, but don't worry. They are out there.

We’ve really hired and held onto a guy who has fans taking the time to create signs prior to a game ironically saying we should extend him. Opposing fans chanting we want him. Thats the current state of Indiana Basketball. This has to end. I didn’t really care before if it happened before the season ended as long as it happened, but this can’t continue. Our program is being clowned by…. Checks Notes….the Northwestern student section. To say nothing of Assembly Hall or B1G teams with an actual hostile environment. He cannot be allowed to finish this season.

Part of me just feels so bad for Woodson, I mean, opposing teams fans chanting to keep you is very funny but has to hurt the ego. The worst part is, the fan base is so obviously over Woodson that now opposing teams fans are making a joke out of it (and it already is one). That wouldn't happen if it weren't such an obvious thing and I bet in his mind he feels betrayed in a way. That's why he's recluding and not doing his media stuff, etc. The thing is... even if the results were not good, the fans wouldn't have such "visceral" feelings if he at least made it look like he were putting in the maximum effort this entire time to win big like he said he wanted to do. 

But by now the story is already written.

….the bolded is a slap in the face to IU BB and making a joke of this once prestigious program! Dolson has to make it stop!

I think we all have been there for awhile.  I think the biggest concern is the home game vs Maryland when a FIRE MIKE WOODSON chant breaks out again!

I believe he is differently one of the top coaches in the BIG. Please don’t bring up his overall record. His players always play hard and stay in games with far less talent. Would love to see him at IU.
