Remember the "Woodson can't lose with all this talent" argument some were making in the offseason? Yeah, about that...
All summer they did. They said guard play would be lights out

Today is the 25th double digit loss (he's lost 41 in total) of Woody's less than illustrious career.  Worse, 9 of the 25 have been by 20+ points.  Today's 30 point loss has the dubious distinction of being our worst loss while he's been our coach.

29 to St. Mary's in 2022

28 to Auburn in 2023

27 to Nebraska in 2024

Thanks for this, I was being a tongue in cheek but actually seeing it on paper is hideous.

It brings me no joy to say that the majority of us were proven correct before the end of November.

I do enjoy some good natured, old fashioned crow eating though. All in good fun! We can all admit when we're wrong, right?

Perhaps "group think" exists for a reason and in some cases, may also be known as common sense?

I'm sure the true fan gang will thump their chests if we beat WVU tomorrow/whenever we win a game... that's their MO.

I jumped the gun and had it ready to post before the final bucket so it was a 28 point loss tied for his second worst.  I have since seen a tweet that our largest beatdown was 32 points in 1954 when we were ranked #7 and got beat 97-65 by unranked Cincinnati.
