if you don’t like Cronin, it’s because of his unfiltered personality or style of play (which is similar to Sampson, Beard, Barnes etc.).  Not because of his resume at Murray, Cincy and UCLA.  
Not my first or second choice, but he would be a massive upgrade from Woodson. 
I’ll be paying attention to his public comments before and after the game on the 14th.

Describes about 50% of the people on this planet. Doesn't mean we should hire them/him.

Pretty much any coach would be a massive upgrade at this point. 

It's pretty amazing that IU truly has one of the worst coaches in major college basketball. They literally just bought a roster this year for a guy who can't seem to coach or manage it.

I'm not so sure that this isn't more rock bottom for the program than when the program imploded after Sampson. I mean, the program is obviously in better shape for the next coach, but there's no doubt that Woodson is the worst actual coach of any post-RMK.

If suffering through 4 wasted years of Woody lands us the right timing for a certain masshole, I’ll say it was worth it lol

But I am with you, outside of some guys I don’t want for off the court reasons, basically anyone would be exciting at this point.

Last night was the most fun I’ve had watching an IU game since TJD left, and it was a loss. Sad state of affairs.

Better shape only because there are no sanctions. The new coach may have to recruit a whole new team just like Crean did. The portal and NIL should make that easier, though.

He has a son who is a freshman at ND this year on the basketball team. I guess he also has a daughter who is in HS. 

Maybe Stevens wants to coach his son? I guess we'll see.

Yeah, I think it’s tough on families and the players seeing this stuff. It’s crappy but you can’t take the temperature from these knuckleheads. All social media is a mess. Facebook, etc, etc. He/we havent done well. People are going to react to that. Sitting around reading that crap all day and night doesn’t do anyone any good. You just have to ignore socials during the season or learn that low IQ people have mouths and access to the internet to say whatever they want. Shut it off.
