There is just no way they can do that to him or the fans.  This was awkward in December.  It was bad in January.  Are they really going to trot him out there for a month to get booed?  Is that the lasting image recruits/transfers will see of IU?  On second blush, that is par for IU.
He deserves every boo he gets at this point if he is too arrogant to step down.

100% yes

There would be no need to boo him if we know he will be gone after the season. I know I am in the minority but I don't a problem if him finishing the year out. Maybe I still have a soft spot for him because I loved him as a player. Also it doesn't hinder us hiring a new coach if he finishes the year. Since I don't buy the Steven's talk the other candidates are still working their current job

I didn’t say removed. I said fired and let to coach out the yer bringing our total to 4/6 coaches terminated before the end of the season…or you know: the thing you say never happens. lol..indeed

Except he wasn’t “terminated” and is still calling the shots. IU will NEVER fire a coach mid-season and remove him in the middle of the year which you said was common place. Has literally never happened nor will it.

Agree to disagree.  I understand your stance, but I don’t see too many people taking that approach.  Completely get the personal attachment, but I also think that personal attachment is what is currently setting us back.  Someone at a high enough level needs to be ruthless in this situation.

Indiana is trying to give Woodson the respect of going out the right away as an alum and "retiring", source told @TheFieldOf68. "Everyone is now fine with it," said one source close to the situation. "All the boosters have come to terms with the fact that it's time."

Well "everyone" is not fine with it... but I'm just an alum from many years ago who still longs to root for Indiana basketball... and it's clear that what I (and thousands of my peers) want doesn't really matter... just get this arrogant POS out of Bloomington...

I hope the boos fill the air in SSAH on Saturday... so loudly that Armond Hill can't get a decent nap.

The way IU is handling this doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in their ability to handle the coaching search…

I’m not sure why you are surprised? IU has never fired a coach in the middle of the season nor will they ever, especially one of their own.

You look pretty correct on this point, I will admit it if no one else will. So now we have “kinda, sorta possibly an open job, but not really unless Woody decides he might could maybe retire.” Absolute clown show.

Yep, I don't know how this is going down exactly, but it reeks.

He deserves every single boo. Guess we'll see how loud AH can get for all the wrong reasons vs Michigan.

Throw salt in the wound and chant for Dusty too, I know that's "wrong" but whatever.

The admin has broken the pact with the fans. Quinn and Mike brought this program to its knees.

There will be some kind of official announcement before the end of the season detailing the exact exit strategy. Once that is announced, its full go.

Dolson is lucky I'm just a fan on a message board and don't have access to his office, or else I'd be pounding on his door screaming at him to FIRE WOODSON AND DO IT NOW.

Seriously, this is so incredibly lame and what losing programs do.

This is not giving me confidence that the coaching replacement will be handled well. Woodson's exit seems to be handled really poorly. They didn't get ahead of the media well at all..
