If Dusty is on the table, this COULD be Brad's last opportunity. UNLESS, he'd be willing to come coach from age 65-70 just to say he's been coach at IU! HAHA! Chris007 1

Hornsby Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 I played in an event with Kenya about a year and half ago. Nice guy, but had just had an unplanned newborn and looked a bit rough. Purely conjecture on my part, but he just didn’t seem like a guy that would be putting in the extra hours on a scout. Look, we want you to express yourself, okay? Now if you feel that the bare minimum is enough, then okay. But some people choose to wear more and we encourage that, okay? You do want to express yourself, don't you?Sent from my SM-A146U using Tapatalk go iu bb and Withnail 1 1

Stevens is 48.. so his dad has to be close to 70 or beyond... if Brad wants to coach at IU while his dad is still alive, I'd guess that he needs to get after it... no clue about his dad's health... but 70 is old (I know, because I am one) :D :D Ryno6284, IUHAHN81, Napleshoosier and 4 others 4 1 2

Hoosierfan2017 Posted January 14, 2025 Posted January 14, 2025 I would almost take Dusty over Brad. Brad hasn’t coached college basketball in 12 years and hasn’t coached at all in four years. Does he really have the fire this job needs? AZ Hoosier, MemphisHoosier, hper50 and 2 others 5

NBA head coach is probably a better lifestyle than college head coach, and he already stepped down from the nba job.

I actually think what he’s been doing the last few years is better for us than his coaching. Learning how to put a team together. No one forgets how to coach. But not everyone can assemble a team. I dominated the junior high ranks for 6 years coaching, then took 10 years off and came back better than ever. :-) MemphisHoosier, KnightsChair, IUHAHN81 and 10 others 12 1
