If we keep Cig and lose MS I feel very confident with Tino moving into play calling duties. Hovadipo, Home Jersey and cbp4iu 3 Quote

Agreed I feel like no matter what we are losing one or the other. Tino seems like the guy that will stay around until Cig is gone and be the next man up rcbowla 1 Quote

Lol. The guy was an assistant coach for 15 years, he doesn't strike me as the gunslinger type, I say if the school offers him a competitive contract and promises to improve the facilities, add seats, and make the football program top notch....he would have no reason to leave! But Shanahan is probably gone at the end of the season! Just my opinion of course, I have no idea what Cignetti wants or maybe more importantly what Mrs. Cignetti wants! I would be surprised if he left after this year, but I’d like to secure a long term extension and publicly announce some commitments to stadium upgrades, staff pay, etc. asap. With Purdue left on the schedule, this is minimally a 9 win season. That’s equal to the last 3 years combined. I frankly don’t think we should care about the amount, just get it done and keep this guy on our sideline. Hoosierfan2017, Jeff Flabjohns and RoadRage 3 Quote

Watching Michigan v Michigan State I think we win at least one of those and probably both depending on Rourke's status. OSU didn't look unbeatable today. It's not unreasonable to think that we come to the Purdue game undefeated. Maybe I'm delusional or maybe just drinking too much. thebigweave, rcbowla, Home Jersey and 2 others 4 1 Quote

Hoosierfan2017 Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Big time college football basically prints money. Pay Cig whatever he wants and don’t let him leave until retirement. Home Jersey, Banksyrules, cthomas and 3 others 6 Quote
Hovadipo Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 Cig won’t leave because someone pays him more. Dolson has a lot more big picture, big money things to get rolling to keep this going. If Cig wants those things right now there will be nothing we can do. southsidehoosier 1 Quote
go iu bb Posted October 27, 2024 Posted October 27, 2024 I think CC wants to be known as the guy who made IU great. He needs to be here for more than 1-2 years for that. At least, that's my hope. MemphisHoosier, cybergates, RoadRage and 1 other 4 Quote
