The boys fought their ***** off for 3 straight days. Took a stud lottery pick catching fire, couple defensive lapses, and a fluke 3 to knock us out. Hopefully the rest does the team some good. I’m pumped to watch them play in the big dance next week.  We as a fan base and of course this roster really deserve it after working hard for years and finally seeing some results.

I don't know what to say other than, if this is the floor for the Woodson era, we all are in for some great next years!  I haven't felt this way about IU, since probably the Wat shot game!  We didn't fold in the B1G tourney, we actually did the opposite!  We have watched our players grow, maybe our coach has grown as well?!  He did leave X in the game with 3 fouls against michigan!  At least we competed today, and really that is all we can ask.  It didn't turn out the way we would've like, but at least we get to look forward to tomorrow and seeing where we go and who we play!  That is the first brick that Woody needed to put in place for this foundation to return to solid state!

100% agree!  I think this definitely the building block of things to come next year and years after that.  This never quit, and Woodson would not let them quit.  A major change from years past.  If this team could have ever gotten good consistent 3 point shooting, we would be a ranked team this year and could compete for a National title, that’s how close I think we were this year.  Most everyone may not think so, but I do.  Just my opinion!

The mental growth of this team in the past 2-3 weeks has been phenomenal. We're gaining confidence, we're playing together, and if 1 or 2 more shots go down a game, it's an entirely different record. Really proud of the team, including Woody on what how they've turned it around from years past. There was a LOT of mental baggage being carried around by the bulk of the team from the last few years.

I think it's gone now. New era of IU ball has begun !

I can't remember the last time I was this bummed after a loss. Really wanted this win today. 

Proud of the guys for how they fought these past few days with so much on the line.

Also, f**k Fran Mccaffery, what in the world was that? Looked like a guy waltzing over to the other teams bench because he thinks he swings a bigger stick than he actually does.

They weren't really "open" threes.  Most where 3-5 feet beyond the line.  And the last one was a prayer bank shot from 40ish feet.

Think about what Woody did with this patchwork of players.  In year 1.  Granted, he made some mistakes.  And it took a while to get some of the others in the game for serious minutes.  But show me where one person said this team was going to make a run in the Big 10 Tournament.  Watch out next week -- depending on match ups, we could surprise some people.
